When Mika starts with "I think...," I dive for the remote to try to change the channel before I'm exposed to the self-important asininity that's about to spew forth from her.

Where were you during the Patriot Act debate, Mika?

            Nope.

And above, we have a right winger who apparently thinks that liberals can't disagree with Obama on certain items, and still like him overall.

I mean, it's not as if we're republicans who mostly followed along with Bush every single step of the way.

I'm not a republican and certainly didn't agree with everything Bush did. You shouldn't automatically assume that anyone who dislikes or disagrees with Obama's agenda is a right winger.

While working in Hartford, on Channel 3, Ms Brzezinski, would do the local newscast, and occasionally do spot pieces. Things like reporting on the declining duck population in Wethersfield cove. MSNBC executives, have to squirm a wee bit, when she starts her, now well known, parroting of Joltin' Joe. Although, one must wonder, given the A.M. nonsense that's been tolerated.

As opposed to the gun Senators already have to their heads, held by a guy saying "vote against Health Care reform, or kiss your millions in campaign contributions goodbye?"

I didn't know Dumbya held a gun to anyone's head to pass that $700 billion Wall St. bailout . . .

Excuse me but we are not allowed to speak of the W. Don't let it happen again. The latest recorded history in America started January 20, 2009. There is no information available from the end of the Reagan administration until the start of the Obama administration. Oh and there is that one incident that defines the Clinton administration.

Well, damn -- good luck, W and friends, polishing that legacy. Pretty hard to embellish what doesn't exist.

Oh well, this has one unintended benefit: It'll make the George W. Bush Presidential Library a VERY inexpensive project . . .

I am also curious as to why the big hurry, but I'm sure there are several good reasons.

Maybe they want to get it up for a vote while Ted Kennedy is still able.

It's probably prudent to get it in the can before Congress starts running for re-election in 2010.

It is also likely that the longer it takes, the more it will be watered down and twisted by the Troglodytes.

The longer it takes, the more gelatinous the spines of the Democrats in Congress will become.

Yeah... they'd better get it done quickly.

What the hell is wrong with her? She's out-moroning Moron Joe.
Go into any coffee shop or cafe and ask people who have no insurance, are under insured or are paying huge premiums what they think. Bet they'd have a different opinion than the over-paid (and no doubt well-insured) bobblehead child of privilege. Too bad we all can't live in her perfect isolated world.

What is wrong with her ... and how much longer will she and Joe have a show? Does anyone know how well MSNBC is doing, revenue-wise. They do not seem very eager to let us know (to say the least). This is as close as I have come to finding out, so far: "Cable television was another story. [GE Chief Financial Offficer Keith] Sherin said those channels [USA, Bravo and MSNBC] contributed $1.2 billion in revenue, up 3% over last year, for an operating profit of $595 million. That was 7% higher than in 2008." [http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-ct-nbcu18-2009jul18,0,336774.story] (On other other hand, we know Fox News is doing well, nearly doubling its revenue over the year ago quarter.)

Isn't it amazing? All of a sudden, the bobbleheads have decided to act as watchdogs on Government again, after sleeping through the Bush administration.

Wouldn't it have been nice if they had shown such curiosity and skepticism back in 2003? Then we might actually have the money for Healthcare Reform.

They did have curiosity and skepticism back in 2003. It was aimed at anyone who opposed invading Iraq.

It is amazing to watch news journalist as well as elected officials with health insurance and in the case of some journalist with the benefit of unions care nothing about those under and uninsured Americans. These Americans are the one working full days cleaning their houses taking care of their children as well as many jobs that would be considered too low to take. Miki and the rest of the gang represent the unabashed selfishness of our society.

Why don't you get a real life Meka? You act so prim and proper and so enbaraced by anything that has to do with sex and tight jeans..the way you acted when they were discussing Obama's jeans was discussting. I think it's time you left the show and got down to the real "Americans" who live in this world instead of staying in your little box of acting like you know it all!!
