LIMBAUGH: Barack Obama has yet to have to prove he's a citizen. All he'd have to do is show a birth certificate. He has yet to have to prove he's -- I have to show them 14 different ways where the hell I am every day of the year for three years.
A matter of clear public record is that Zer0bama has paid over $800,000.00 in legal fees fighting the request that he produce an actual long-form birth certificate, which would prove where he was born. These have the name of the attending physician, the hospital where the birth took place, and the footprint of the baby as well as an official State Seal. Zero won't show his. Why?
I think you're confusing two different things, somehow. Hawaii doesn't send out the original form. They send out the COLB which contains much of the same information. That would include location. Now, if they specify the place of birth, where did they get that from? Do they automatically put Honolulu down? If not, then either it comes from a hospital, or from the testimony of the mother. In the latter case, we're back to the very strange scenario of Obama's mother lying for no reason whatsoever. He would be a citizen no matter what, and it's very difficult to believe that anyone would commit fraud on the off-chance that their black child would someday run for President, especially since the Civil Rights Act wasn't even around in 1961.
You, Limbaugh, and the rest of the Republican Party have the right to dislike or hate Obama. You can oppose his agenda and stage rallies, protests, and ‘tea parties’, if that makes you happy. But please stop pushing this absurd fantasy in the absence of any evidence whatsoever.
And just so you know, were Obama a Kenyan citizen, and were he to be pushed out of office, Biden would become president, not McCain.

Can you produce these 14 documents per day for me, Rushbo? I have yet to see them. Rush is obviously a tax cheat and a usurper, if I'm allowed to use the Birfers' logic.
What the hell he was talking about when he mentioned showing 'them' 14 times a day where he was is anybody's guess. Maybe he's playing up to the other component of his audience--delusional paranoids (you know, Republicans).
Also, don't you have to prove you're a citizen of the US to work in the federal government? I'm pretty sure you do, especially a position such as President. So I'm going to go out on a limb here and state, categorically, that Obama is indeed an American Natural Born citizen.

$688,316.42 was paid to Perkins Coie. This was from January to March 2009.
The campaign also compensated Perkins Coie for legal services between Oct. 16, 2008 and Dec. 31, 2008 to the tune of $378,375.52
The lawsuits have continued thru this month July, easily at 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS!
Why is 1.5 million dollars spent in campaign funds to quash eligibility lawsuits rather than release a $12 document ...
or simply present in court the short-form online document this administration tauts as proof????? it represents the long form birth certificate saying "born in Honolulu" does it not?

There are two identical birth announcements in two different Hawaiian papers a day apart. Neither mentions the hospital. The papers have said the birth announcements were often supplied by the State Health Department. I got that from either politifact or factcheck. Can't remember off the top of my head.
actually it's better than that. i was reading fox nation this morning about obama's B.C. and you should read the comments. these people actually think that if obama were to be kicked out of office for not being born here that Mcain would become president. these dopes don't even know HOW govenment works.
Example from a conversation I had today: "The furnace man is here." 10 minutes later: "This is Matt. He's the furnace guy." Q: "Who is that man and why is he here!!!"
As I've said before, NOTHING will satisfy the conspiracy theorists on this topic, Limbaugh included. Limbaugh produces a birth certificate. A diligent researcher produces birth announcements from the Honolulu newspapers, and these people still won't believe the circumstances of Obama's birth. There are plenty of people who knew Obama's parents, and had first hand knowledge of how, when and where he was born, including Congressman Abercrombie of Hawaii, and yet the conspiracy theorists still refuse to accept the truth.
These conspiracy theorists are committed ideologues -- NOTHING will sway them -- proof that they're wrong is, to them, merely proof of a conspiracy so vast and powerful that it can FAKE THE EVIDENCE.
These military officers who are pretending they want to deploy just so they can question Obama's birth and their supporters are dishonorable and disgraceful. The military ought to make an example of one by trying and convicting him, and then putting him in prison. Trust me -- these guys are such fraidy-cats that one is all it would take.

You know what Rush... if you made $50,000/yr like most folks, you wouldn't have to worry about all these crazy tax laws. Why don't you try that some time and then see how we all feel about your plight!

The real question is The constitution only allows Native Born US citizens to run for presdient. That means only those who were born in the fifty states and DC. Not a US terrotory not a US base in a foreign country Not a embassy complex. I know this because I like John Mccain was born outside of the US. We both have acquired US Citizenship. He was born in Panama and I on a US Air Force base in Canada. We both can run for any other office but the President or Vice President Legally. It is in the Constitution and very clear on this issue. If Panama were to become a State he can legally hold the office of the President smae for me if Canada becaume a state. The real issue is why would the Republician party let someone campaign who legally could not hold the office legally. I got this the department of immigration and the passport office. Oh sorry I didn't check with Limbaugh first.
