It's not socialized medicine but if we're lucky we might get there one day.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

"The most controversial aspect of the plan was the proposed national health insurance plan. In the November 19th address, President Truman called for the creation of a national health insurance fund, to be run by the federal government. This fund would be open to all Americans, but would remain optional. Participants would pay monthly fees into the plan, which would cover the cost of any and all medical expenses that arose in a time of need. The government would pay for the cost of services rendered by any doctor who chose to join the program. In addition, the insurance plan would give a cash balance to the policy holder to replace wages lost due to illness or injury."

Jeez, Beck, does your hospitalization insurance provide coverage for psychiatric evaluation and treatment? Please use it, Glenn because your insanity is really showing.

BTW, Glenn, does your family know you're crazy?

How do you go about raping a pocketbook, anyway?

Never mind. I don't really want to know.

Raping? Really? Why do these gargantuan eejits always have to use such violent and hyperbolic words and imagery?

That was a rhetorical question of course.

I wonder if Glennie was a white man's affirmative action hire? That's not a rhetorical question. All derisive and offensive, funny or even complementary answers most welcomed. ;-)

And what "ism" is Glennie qualified for since he's afforded largess and wealth by virtue of using airwaves that are supposedly owned by the public.

Oh boy, he's got an Obama doll. I guess subliminally he's actually for the health reform. And there's an American flag wrapped around Obama. I guess Obama is an American, after all. What a putz Beck is.

"Buck" loves to play with dolls. Reminds me of early High School, when we did 'obscene' things to 'action figures/dolls' (with each other). We, however, outgrew that.

At last the truth will out! Glenn is against socialism because it is raping the rich to give to the poor! It is all about him! He got his, only the good Lord knows how, and he doesn't want to share! And he's afraid that his new, rich friends will have to share their ill-gotten wealth, often taken from the pockets of the poor and uneducated. And in the meantime, he will entertain his followers with flimsy conspiracy theories about organizations like Labor and Acorn, who have a lot more in common with the average guy than he and his new friends do.

"If there were such a [Christian] society in existence, and you or I visited it, I think we should come away with a curious impression. We should feel that its economic life were very socialistic and, in that sense, 'advanced', but that its family life and its code of mannners were rather old-fashioned -- perhaps even ceremonious and aristocratic. Each of us would like some bits of it, but I am afraid very few of us would like the whole thing."

In 1980 the Republican party platform was to reduce the top income tax bracket to 50%.

The new taxes would raise the top bracket to 46%

I say President Obama is still doing better than Reagan for the Republicans.

So, Glenn, you're saying you can't tell the difference between your delusions about health care and Robin Hood?

His Mormon Church takes their 10% right off the top of his check. Guess the Mormon Church is raping his pocketbook. Not so much to give to the poor but to build more grotesque, ornate temples.

Again, how the United States puts the rich through the ringer. It's just so sad. Paris Hilton = Jesus.

Anyway, I am pretty sure Glenn and the right wing talking haters are just out to make sure none of their audience ever gets their mental health care they obviously need. If wingnuts start going sane, who is going to buy Beck's next ripoff book?

Okay first of all Beck taking from the rich and giving to the poor is not socialism its progressivism. Progress is obviously something the right wing isn't concerned with, unless that progress involves the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer (and some how some of the people that support this would be some of the ones losing money to the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh...go figure)
