Lou wouldn't know reality if he gave birth to it... in Hawaii... in 1961.

      Lou Dobbs is a disgrace.

How do we really KNOW that Lou Dobbs was born in Childress, Texas? How do we really know he was born in 1943? How do we really know he was raised in Idaho? Or that he really graduated from Harvard?

Oh, sure, he can SAY it. he can even produce birth certificates and diplomas. And even so-called eyewitnesses. But hey, ANYONE can fake those.

Until Lou Dobbs produces the original, certified, raised seal, long form of his birth certificate, the question of his birth will be "out there" and "Dobbsters" like me will continue to raise the possibility that he's a Kenya--born Muslim from Indonesia.

You know, if Dobbs requested a certified copy of his birth certificate from the State of Texas, he'd get a similar document from the State of Texas unless he specifically asked for the long form. The State of Texas advises folks not to request copies of the long form because it contains information with sets up the recipient for identity theft.

What's frustrating to me in all of this birth certificate drama is the quiet, unspoken, yet inherent racism. Are these people convinced that every black man in America was actually born in Kenya, or just this specific one? I don't recall anyone pressuring former President Bush to produce his birth certificate - or any former president for that matter. Why should the president stoop to the level of these conspiracy theorists? He shouldn't. I imagine that's one of the great things about being president - you don't have to take orders from too many people - certainly not conspiracy theorists hell-bent on disproving your US citizenship.

Did anyone see the screeching idiot Loony Lou was talking about? Crooks and Liars has the clip. It's been a long time since I felt sorry for a Republican, but I did for Rep. Castle as he endured her fringe babble.

And what was with the guy who didn't know how to pronounce live as it related to live birth.

Sheer insanity. This is Lou trying to get his pathetic numbers up at any cost.

I'd bet he isn't pronouncing it correct because he's an idiot. He's intentionally mispronouncing it so people don't hear the word Live If they actually heard the word Live .... gee they might think it was real ... Look how he plays with the words ... "Anyone can get a certificate of live birth" ... Sure anyone can get one ... the one that documents their own birth ... it's a birth certificate.

On the other hand ... Who can produce an Original birth certificate? ... I can't produce my own Original birth certificate. There is only one original and in my case it's in the state of California. The State of CA keeps the original. They always have and they always will.

Show the the long-form BIRTH CERTIFICATE not the CERTIFICATION of BIRTH and watch this whole thing go away. There's one heck of a difference between the two. What's BHO hiding? Have you seen his Occidental record or his enrollment form in the Indonesian school? Look it up. He will probably be forced to resign before the end of his first term or before the Supreme Court is forced to rule on a meritorious case, otherwise, everything he has signed is up in the air.

This thing will NEVER go away. If there were such a thing as a certification of live birth, and if Obama produced it, birthers would pronounce it a forgery. When some official in Hawaii certified it as an original from 1961, he or she would be accused of lying, accepting a bribe, knuckling under to coercion from Obama, or being a pro-Obama partisan who's willing to lie on his behalf. When that accusation got knocked down, there'd be another. And another. And another.

I'll say it again -- NO proof of Obama's birth in Honolulu will EVER be accepted as legitimate by these jackasses. To them, proof is merely demonstration of a conspiracy so vast it can manufacture evidence. They're anti-Obama ideologues who will find fault with everything he says and does. They're not objective searchers for the truth who can be convinced with facts and rational arguments.

Show the the long-form BIRTH CERTIFICATE not the CERTIFICATION of BIRTH and watch this whole thing go away.

Quit acting stupid....unless it's not an act:

        "

When we spoke to a spokeswoman for the Hawaii Department of Health, she said too much was being made of the difference between the so-called "long" and "short" forms.

"They're just words," said spokeswoman Janice Okubo. "That (what was posted on the Internet) is considered a birth certificate from the state of Hawaii."

"There's only one form of birth certificate," she said, and it's been the same since the 1980s. Birth certificates evolve over the decades, she said, and there are no doubt differences between the way birth certificates looked when Obama was born and now.

"When you request a birth certificate, the one you get looks exactly like the one posted on his site," she said. "That's the birth certificate."

As for the theory that Obama's original birth certificate might show he was foreign-born, Okubo said the "Certification of Live Birth" would say so. Obama's does not. Again, it says he was born in Honolulu.

We have one more thing. We talked to reporter Will Hoover, who wrote a well-researched story for the Honolulu Advertiser on Nov. 9, 2008, about Obama's childhood years in the the Aloha State. It ran under the headline "Obama Slept Here."

In researching the story, he went to the microfilm archives and found the birth announcement for Obama. Actually, he found two of them, one in his Honululu Advertiser on Aug. 13 , 1961, and in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin the next day . They both said the same thing: "Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Highway, son, Aug. 4."

A birth announcement in a newspaper is not a CERTIFICATE OF BIRTH. A true certificate, as was used in Hawaii when BHO was born, shows the hospital, doctor and witnesses. Why won't he release this? Why doesn't the certificate he released even have a number on it? Somewhere in the depth of your superior intellect this must raise some question.

Give me a break! He has produced the document sent to him upon his request from the state of Hawaii which has VERIFIED that the original long form is in their archives. If I order a certified copy of my birth certificate from the State of Texas, I'd get a "certification of birth." The State of Texas will, if specifically requested, send you a certified copy of the "long form" certification of birth, but they strongly advise against it because it leaves the requestor open to identity theft.

        Grow up.

First, Obama is an American. Second, you're either delusional or deliberately lying. Everything that you birthers have claimed has been so thoroughly debunked that it's clear you are not interested in fact, you only want to oppose Obama at any cost but you're too cowardly to actually do so with legitimate disagreements. You don't have to like him or agree with his policies, but at least try to have enough integrity to actually dislike him based on actual facts, don't latch onto obviously false talking points and try to claim that they are justified. Even people who say that they just don't like him because he is black are honest enough to admit that it's racial (which is still disgusting, but more honest); birthers aren't even honest enough to admit that.

Actually, it was an issue for Sen. McCain. The Bush Admnistration claims US military bases are not "US soil" - that's why they claimed we don't have to follow US law at Gitmo.

John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone.

His friends in the Senate passed a law ruling him eligible for the Presidency.

Kinda like the US Supreme Court electing George Bush President, isn't it? Only this time we didn't need it, because "the American won." And it isn't up to the President of the United States to prove anything about his right to be President. He got the votes.

Exactly. Just as Gitmo is leased land and not US territory according to the Bush Administration logic, the Canal Zone was leased land and not US territory. The same Vattel argument used by birthers would absolutely deny McCain's citizenship if the same standard was applied.

Whatever the Senate passed was not legally binding in any way. It is merely the opinion of the Senate.

Not that any of this really matters. This is all just academic. Obama does not need to provide anything more than you or I need to provide to get a passport. I provided certification of birth for my own passport - despite the fact I was actually born in Kenya...just kidding.

Yeah, and he wasn't born in the U.S. The Canal Zone wasn't even considered a protectorate until the year after he was born. He is a citizen by virtue of his parents' citizenship, but there has always been a question as to whether he was a "natural born" citizen.

Before anyone says that people born on a military installation are automatically born on "U.S. soil," that's incorrect.

Lou Dobbs is either a fraud or a partisan hack, take your pick.

What President Obama produced was his birth certificate, there have been multiple independent sources. If you think it's easy to get why hasn't anyone presented a forged one from Hawaii to prove their point... they can't!

But, I can play the conspiracy theorist game too. I think President Obama and the DNC are doing this on purpose. This issue is splitting the GOP, a party that can't afford to be fragmened any more. The party is already decimated and inconsequential, this is just hastening its death.

The media help drive this foolishness by entertaining these idiots; and they do so believing it will have a negative impact on the President.
Anybody with common sense knows that when something has been proven, there is no need to revisit it, yet the media does just that. They should be ignored.
What the media needs to do is expose these people for what they really are, RACIST, because this is the reality of the situation. These people who do not accept the truth are guided by hate and ignorance. That is what should be reported. Anything else is an insult to humanity.

Surely, Dobbs isn't as dumb as his remarks are making him appear. Anyone with more than a few working brain cells KNOWS the reality of Obama's birth certificate. The birth certificate has been VERIFIED by the State of Hawaii as being the document which THEY sent Obama and it has been certified as being reflective of the ORIGINAL birth certificate in their archives.

These folks really need to give it a rest, they are looking more and more foolish every day.

Trying ro look for the "silver lining" in this BS all I can say is that maybe it will be clear now whose side Dobbs is on. On immigration how many times have you heard "he can't be racist because his wife is Mexican?" This definitly shoots that down!

Mr. Dobbs says the birthiers aren't "the fringe." About that we can all agree. These nutz represent the rational center of the GOP...

Dobbs is to CNN what Buchanan is to MSNBC. I will no longer watch either network.

So, you watch just Fox now? LOL. I like Obermann and The Daily Show.

I only watch Fox to catch the commercials - then I write the advertisers to let them know that I won't be purchasing their products because they support the lies and racism that is Fox.

Maybe Obama is refusing to prove that the birth certificate exists, for proof denies faith, and without faith we are nothing.
