I wish she had corrected him more forcefully.
First, let's deal with the hypocracy of Joe: Point 1; Why didn't Joe address the "no return" to the American people in the raising of gas and oil during the Iragi invasion. What did we do with that money!!!!!!!! Why did we soak so much out of American lives and troops that we sacrificed them? FOR THE KID'S PIGGY BANKS!!! DEAL WITH THE REAL ISSUES IF YOU PROTECT AMERICAN ISSUES. MIKA SPEAKS OF REAL AMERICANS, THE SOLDIERS ARE THE ONLY REAL AMERICANS I KNOW AND THE FAMILIES THAT ENCOURAGE THEM-=--NOT RICH PEOPLE! THE SOLDIERS.
SINCE WE ARE AT WAR AND CONSTANTLY RECEIVING INJURED TROOPS (AND WE HAVEN'T DEVELOPED ANY POLICIES OF REFORM AROUND THE HEALTH CARE FOR VETERANS!) WHICH THIS REFORM WOULD COVER I MIGHT ADD: WE HAVEN'T EVEN SECURED HOUSING POLICIES AND FAVORABLE PROGRAMS FOR THEM! WE CAN OFFSET THE DECAY OF LIVES IF THIS IS A FOCUS OF THE REFORM--THE GOOD IT WILL DO! WHO ACTUALLY BENEFITS, THE REAL AMERICANS!!!
Why is he not bringing up the fact that we did nothing, gained nothing, and produced nothing for those efforts IN THE WAR ON TERROR; and there is something owed to the people for that investment, job outsourcing, and inept governing that was fashioned from that war. A TYRANT (SEE THE DECLARATIONN OF INDEPENDENCE.
Nobody said too much in media because MOST OF THESE ANCHORS COME FROM POLITICAL FAMILIES AND RICH PEOPLE ( and you wonder why we can't get the news: they were never journalist), they were able to buy into the stocks that were selling at the time. Is it Haliburton? Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) is a US-based oilfield services corporation with international operations in more than 70 countries.
It is based in 5 Houston Center in Downtown Houston, Texas, in the United States.[4] U.S. office locations are also in Anchorage, Alaska; Bakersfield, California; Denver, Colorado; Lafayette, Louisiana; and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Halliburton recently opened a second headquarters in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, in March 2007, where Chairman and CEO David J. Lesar will work and reside, "to Focus [the] Company’s Eastern Hemisphere Growth."[5] Corporate offices will remain in Houston and the company will remain incorporated in the United States.[6][7][8] The company will consider Houston and Dubai as dual headquarters. Halliburton plans to move its headquarters to another site in Houston by 2012.[
War was big business. Money was being made. A welfare stimulus check was given to pacify Americans!
Point 2: Where is the money from that if you are worried about reading things, READ BETWEEN THE LINES!
You can't have us vote on every program that costs a lot of money. We'd be voting constantly. In a representative republic, we vote for people whom we trust to make budget decisions.
Besides, if we voted on spending measures, nothing would ever get approved. There are too many stupid people who think we shouldn't pay any taxes at all.
