(This will seem off topic at first, but stick with me for a moment.)

I knew a guy who once protested anti-abortionists by joining them outside clinics. While the other protesters yelled, "Don't do it! Do you want to see what your baby looks like? Do you want to hear your baby's heartbeat?" he would shout, "Would you like a two piece chicken dinner at KFC? How about a free side dish?" and wave KFC coupons. While more cathartic than effective, it certainly had an impact: the other protesters spent as much time yelling at him about 'watering down' their protest as they did screaming at the people who entered the clinic.

I think it's time to start doing the same thing with the birthers. I'd like to see proof that Barack Obama is actually a member of American Airlines' "Aadvantage" frequent flyer program. Why hasn't he released his bills for his Blackberry? If he's got nothing to hide, why hasn't he made public his iTunes playlists? If he's really a human being, as he'd have us believe, then he shouldn't have a problem producing a blood sample for us, right? There are SO MANY unanswered questions, and Obama could make them go away if he would just release a few original documents and vials of blood.

I don't think "fringe" is quite accurate any more. This is the Republican base.

This is getting comical to watch.

Health Care is tanking so badly and St. Barack was such an embarassment last night that MMFA is focusing on this birth certificate foolishness because their heroes on the left have been exposed as such frauds and incompetents on health care that MMFA would further embarass their friends by covering it.

Similar CNN...nobody outside the whacked-out extreme right has this birthcert. on tis radar screen, but it is being used by MMFA and CNN to divert attention from the collapse of health care.

the main upside of your post is that you agree that it's "nobody outside the whacked-out extreme right has this birthcert. on tis radar screen"

you mean the nutjobs like rush, hannity, beck, dobbs, right wing memebers of congress, and the list goes on. thats good news, does that also mean that you finally understand that these guys are not credible and should be shunned from the responsible wing of the conservitive party?

        And you responded to it.

The rest of the syllogism is left as an exercise to the reader.

"If we don't do something on health-care reform," Grassley said, "the voters are more apt to blame Republicans than Democrats." Grassley also expressed his disagreement with the Republican Party of Iowa, which called health care reform an "experiment Iowa cannot afford." "I would suggest there have been some Republicans who haven't been looking at the polls," Grassley said in a weekly conference call with Iowa reporters, in which he announced he would continue to seek a bipartisan bill:

He referred to a poll showing voters would assign blame 30 percent to the health industry, 22 to Republicans, 11 percent to Democrats and only 4 percent to Obama.

"So it seems to me that we have a responsibility to the Republican Party not to be seen as destroying or at least not talking about things that people believe are wrong with the present health-care system," Grassley said.

ORSZAG: We have to remember: there are some who are advocating delay simply because they don’t have anything to put on the table. The typical Washington bureaucratic game of — 'if you don’t have a better alternative, just delay in the hope that that kills something' is partly what’s playing out here.

On Levin's show, DeMint said that if health care reform passes, it could be "Waterloo" for the conservative movement. "That's why I'm using stronger language than I would normally use," said DeMint.

You got the frauds and incompetants title correct, you were just off target on who they were. I've taken the liberty to fill in your mistake with the proper names...

HA..now Ed Schultz calling someone a 'psycho' is pure comedy.

Ed....please go beyond media matters for show content. Fewer people know then than know you...if that is possible.

so your using audience numbers as your standard for whats truth or not?
yes fox has higher overall numbers than msnbc, but jon and kate + 8 blows fox away in the rateings. i guess by your standards that means that they have the typical life that people relate to because so many watch. do you even think before you speak?...lol

Wow, Dick2012 must think SpongeBob is God...
We recently dumped cable in favor of Verizon FiOS, fiber optic TV. One of the cool things about the technology is that you can look and see what other customers are watching most in real-time. SpongeBob consistently is in the top five, way over any cable news show. About half of the top ten are usually kids programs with number one often being the Mariners game when they are playing. Fox News, or MSNBC for that matter rarely shows up on the list at all.
