Go figure, a reich-wing perverting and desecrating a flag. How about Becky wasn't claiming "states rights" when it came to reciprocity of CWLs/CHLs?

So, um... Becky... dissenters and people who hate America can't burn a US flag, but you can alter the flag in some cheap gimmick if your country doesn't meet with your standards?

If a public figure on the Left did this to a flag, what do you think would happen?

      Absolutely incredible.

Can you imagine if Rosie O'Donnell had done something like this when we invaded Iraq?

What the conservative(republicans) did after 9-11-01. As part of their southern strategy, they encouraged people to stop waving their confederate flags, and wave the American flag insted. They let them know that they could wave the American in support of just as much racism as their other flag. Go big time take it mainstream Never has the American been waved in support of hate and racism as the republicans have done the past eight years.I challenge anyone to produce evidence to the contrary. They have made the John Birch society look like a bunch of liberal supporters of the ACLU.

Sorry, I hit the wrong button in mid thought. He just decided to remove states that don't meet his standard of concern for the Constitution. He is continuing his call for revolution without actually calling for revolution. How much longer will this man have access to a national audience?

What about the part of the Constitution that calls for the general welfare that is a power granted the the federal government and that seems to includ most everything. By the way desicrating the flag is an unAmerican act you jerk.

What happened to the UNITED States of America... what does Beck think we are, the former Soviet Union.... oh wait, he does.

It's amazing how stupid this man is. I have such contempt for him from his mocking of those who are suffering, then this whole stupid flag thing... he is a clown. A mean spirited, ego maniacal clown.

Why does Glenn Beck hate America?

He takes away Delaware because Joe Biden ticks him off? My 3 year old son make better arguments and more sense that this idiot.

Can you imagine if a Democrat had their own TV show and he/her did the exact same thing? It would be playing on Fox several times an hour and they'd all be saying that this proves that Dems hate America.

I for one would like to see Glenn Becks birth certificate.

      Love your footgear, Becky.

I'm also really looking forward to your logical next step: calling for the impeachment of Roberts, Alito and Scalia over, among other things, their deference (some might called it round-heeled kowtowing) to the Executive Branch, and their interference in one Southern state's election.

Glen made a serious point about the seriousness of the Constitution and States rights that really does need to be made, CLARITY. odd the obvious is so obscure to the so oblivious.

Odious that the obtuse can so obliterate an observation. I see I'm obliged to clarify. Those on the Right who are now screaming "Constitution" were strangely silent when Dubya referred to it as a "goddamn scrap of paper," and proceeded to shred it.

As also became very clear during the Sotomayer hearings, re the Ricci case, Constitutional principles go out the window for the Right when a specific result (assertion of "white male victimhood") is desired.

Finally, as Dr. Johnson stated long ago, "patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. The history of the U.S., from Ante Bellum to the present, shows "States Rights" to be the solace of the truly scurrilous.
