      This after eight years under a guy who could wiretap citizens without a warrant, detain people without charging them, take the country to war for no reason at all and let his Vice President claim he was his own separate branch of government. If cognitive dissonance were alcohol Rush would be invited to all of Glenn Beck's parties.

        Republicans like limbaugh are A-OK with shoving ideology down american's throats as long as they are the ones doing the shoving. Like I've said before, the republicans still believe in a two party system. The masters (them) and the slaves (us).

        I would have to agree with you. Sure, I am a conservative and I don't agree with a lot of things Obama or the other democrats are trying to do. However, I must acknowledge that the G.O.P. screwed up so much for so long that it is their own damn fault that they are losing power. You forgot to mention the ways George Bush got elected (i.e Florida, involving the Supreme Court, etc.). That was disgusting too. Halliburton, Freedom Fries, Mission Accomplished, wiretapping, etc. etc.
        Then to add the icing on the cake, my party ran John McCain.

        I am Independent now.
