Really the reason they dont like him is that because of being able to get focused on an issue and get organized they have to consistently distract themselves to deal with the stupid idea's that you advance in their name (such as the birthers) and how to clean up that mess so they can get back to doing what they need to do to win elections and be taken seriously

I don't know what the Republicans think of each other, but I'd bet his current rivals wouldn't care one wit about what ole Limbaugh said or did if they were still in power.

Rush is an entertainer, a talking head thats only slightly more clever than his duck-speaking core audience of Limphibians. Pandering to them is his business and rabid jingo-lingo that doesn't skip a beat in the face of Facts or Common Sense is his gimmick.

He is merely the Tweedledee to Michael Moore's Tweeedledum, who panders to his own doublethinkers, pseudo-intellectuals & dystopian operatchiks on the Left, and who's gimmick is to tug at the obligatory fifteen-minutes-of-liberal-guilt.

The only marginally good things that actually can be said them and their followers, is at least they are dealing with issues and the political process, however misguided. Better that than the millions upon millions of disinterested herd-beasts out there, too occupied with pop-culture, free lunches, and pleasing their Masters to even remotely understand whats happening to this Society, this Nation, and this World.
