Rubbish. I agree a robust public health care plan would be a monumental change but it's neither the end of our society nor the cure to all it's ills. Let congress do the will of the people and pass legislation that provides affordable health care to all Americans.

Rush spouts his hyperboloic nonsense, but the problem is there are a certain percentage of people (20_25) who will buy into it. I have diminishing hope for a country where one in four are neanderthal wackos.

        I would agree,

We are one of the stupider countries around.

One way to lower health care costs would be to distribute giant billboards of El Fathead, above the heading: DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.

I agree. The United States as we know it ranks 37th in the world in healthcare, despite the fact that we are #1 in per capita healthcare spending.

I'm OK with the end of that United States...

Yep, Rush...and despite all your bluster and boasting there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.

Sure there is. He can order the GOP to vote against the wishes of their constituents. Oh wait. We have huge majorities on both houses. We don't need their votes. :)

You mean the end of denying health care to those who can't afford? THe end of insurance companies screwing over their customers? Charging for ambulance rides because they aren't pre-approved? The end of no prevenatative care?

      Sounds fine to me.
