Since they mentioned the soldier who refused to deploy, I have to ponder; what would the reaction have been from the Troglodytes if a soldier had refused to go to Iraq because he thought G.W. had stolen the 2000 election?
The really funny (and pethetically sad) thing about that is that they not only would have mercilessly braded him a traitor, and the viciously smeared all liberals and democrats for hating their country, but they would not recognize their glaring hypocrisy, the almost comical double-standard, or there complete and utter lack of principles in doing so!
Further, they would screech that libruls are infiltrating the ranks and supplying evil, radical far left propaganda to our soldiers causing they to drop to the floor in the fetal position. Hypocritical scum.
Wow, just simply wow.
nerzog, we are still using the same electoral college system that put the 6oz. Bush in Office. Our Presidents have never been chosen by popular vote. Much like how a person elected by a simple majority of anything in one country doesn't actually become the "leader of the free world".
Something is indeed very askew in our system, but it has more to do with the fact that the POTUS, and indeed the federal government in general, was never by any stretch intended to have nearly as much impact on or Authority over the day-to-day lives of the citizenry as is the case now. Another example of a wrong being forced into the necessary balance of a dynamic system, instead of a wrong being set right.
I've never seen someone so unhinged and delusional. She doesn't even try to sound reasonable. Or is it she doesn't know how totally insane she sounds? Either way, keep talking.
OK I will have to qualify that. Comedy will make some people think. Those that don't have a functioning brain don't have a chance.
