I thought republicans hated communism.Yet they are willing to let a non-citizen lady who came from a communist country be poster girl of their movement. How much more hypocritical can they be?

There's more truth to be found in 30 minutes of Colbert than in an entire week of FOX News.

What I find really chilling, and I read a headline somewhere that Colbert is also bothered by it, is that many conservatives who watch his show don't realize that he's savaging them. They're so far gone that his satire sounds serious to them.

          True enough.

And what about the recent story that showed, in a poll of Americans, that Jon Stewart was the most trusted newsman on TV? Tells us a lot about the media these days.

Only $10,000 for being at Obamas' birth...the Birthers should be willing to give up thier homes, thier cars and thier first born(as long as she is a 22 year old Playboy Bunny who yearns for a piece of the World). I suggest the WorldND ask for donations to increase this payment. And if it isn't enough, a stimulous package for the birthers may be required. But who can approve that.
I also have been told by some that the birthers are asking for a New amendment be added to the Constitution. They already enjoy the First, now they should have the First Amendment Light, the Birther Amendment by which all Americans presently alive or about to be born have thier Original Birther Certificate posted on-line for the entire world to see and possibly use. And whenever someone needs to see it, you just go to.. HERE IS MY INFO.con

Just listen to Glenn Beck. Colbert rarely if ever says anything as crazy, paranoid and illogical as what Beck says on a daily basis.

Heck, I'll go say I saw him born in Kenya for $10,000 dollars. Because that's what they want to hear, and that's what will get me the money. And I'm sure my voice will have a HUGE effect on what people actually believe.

The same could be said for the hatred directed at Bush following the 2000 election.

There is no comparison. You need to go back and check news reports of the time.

There was a great deal of outrage at the hijacking of the election by Bolton and his White Shirts and the 5 Activist Justices.

There was more outrage when W decided to govern as if he had a mandate, instead of having lost the popular vote and been appointed to the Oval Office.

There was more outrage when it became clear that secrecy would rule, and that Bush and Cheney didn't hold themselves, or any of their people, accountable to the American People.

None of this approached the level vitriol and hatred that racist rightists have directed at President Obama. In fact, immediately after the attacks on 9/ll, the entire country, and the world, rallied behind President Bush. He had something like a 97% approval rating in the ensuing couple of weeks. Of course this was an emotional response to the attacks, and would not last. Bush, however, made sure of that, and squandered both world and American goodwill.

The longer he was in office the more unfit he showed himself, and the more his actions revealed a contempt for that "g*dd*mn scrap of paper," and for the American people. This contempt came back to him, in spades. But to compare the abuse he received in his first six months with that endured by Obama is ludicrous.

I now get my news from Colbert and Jon Stewart. Why? Because they do the news in a comedy fashion that's spot on.
They have balls, unlike a lot of people in the MSM and newspapers.
I've sent ANOTHER email to Lou Dobbs, but I don't expect anything. I called him out on this crap, but I think he is a coward. Thoughts anyone?

Spot on about Stewart and Colbert. That is why I also watch Olbermann (when he's effing there) and Maddow.

Yeah, the white man will rise again!
Does anybody else think it's funny that only WEALTHY WHITE MEN are complaining about racism? Did I miss something?

This is beautiful. Crazy Eileen, the red shirted birther sensation on youtube, is so insane that she's been banned from calling in to the local reichwing talk show! And on top of that, the guy who killed the security guard at the holocaust museum has been revealed to be a birther as well. So keep talking Lou, you are promoting birhters to take action and kill...
