Morgan, railroaders, robber barons, Skull and Bones and Wolf's Head, Chicago & New York,, fascists, fabians, money & power, etc etc etc.

Still, hard to argue with Malkin's ideological indictment of the Chicago Machine, as it is & has always been as notoriously corrupt as Tammany Hall.

It would be easy to make cruel jokes about a Filipino American immigrants' daughter who authors a book arguing that the internment of Japanese Americans was justified by national security. Not to mention a best-seller arguing for a much tighter immigration policy. And countless weekly columns sniping at affirmative action, environmentalists, sexy pop stars, scandalous journalists, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Gary Locke, John Kerry, Teresa Heinz Kerry, and just about anything and anyone that offends radical right wing sensibilities.

To do so would only be giving Malkin what she gives others. But most readers would find that kind of adolescent vitriole less interesting than a serious effort at understanding who Michelle Malkin is, how she became that way and what she really wants.

Maybe Matt was so meek because, sitting next to her and having to deal with her upclose and personal, he was afraid of how nasty should could get if challenged. He may still be stinging from Anthrax Annie's last visit.

I agree that this chick shouldn't have a national stage. I wouldn't call Matt a wuss. He is supposed to be a host, not commentator. Really though, watch the clip again and watch Matt's face at the end of interview. I have never seen him look at someone like he eyed her. I can't figure out if he was thinking, "Who invited her crazy azz on the show?" or "Whatever you're smoking, give it up!"

These are the type of media appearances that I feel are the most insidious. These national shows that are watched by millions of people, largely the type who "hate watching the news", and can only take little doses of "politics" between the weather, bears in trees, and 100th birthday wishes.

This is supposedly the Librul Media, but do these shows ever have a left-wing couterpart to Malkin on to rant unchallenged? I know, there isn't really a left-wing counterpart to the dimwitted and dishonest Malkin anywhere in the mainstream, but how about a, say, Michael Moore ? Even if, unlike Malkin, he were to keep his comments confined to reality, would he be given this soapbox with a response resembling "Lotta comments there!"?

I've known people who admitted to getting most of their news from programs like Today (along with some supplemental right wing emails),and they're often the type to spend less time double-checking things they hear than they spend passing on the tripe.

It is reprehensible that she can come on a mainstream program and spout her hate radio nonsense without much of a challenge.The interviewer seemed unprepared for her responses!!!I think NBC will get some blow back on this one!!! I suspect Ms Malkin was restrained from her usual level of poisonous rhetoric because of the expected audience!!This is just based on other things (far worse)I have heard come out of her mouth!!!!

You will note she spews out facts as if those things she sai are facts. After some time for analysis, you will find she is a spinners, an very good at it. Quoting your own book is the " Corsi method ". Other pundits pick up on it and start quoting each other rendering fiction into fact for some.
