Let's review what prejudice means. It means pre-judging. Did Sgt. Crowley pre-judge the professor? No, he was simply wanting to make sure the homeowner at 17 Ware Street was not threatened by the "second burglar" which a neighbor reported to 911.

Did the Harvard professor pre-judge St. Crowley? YES Did Obama pre-judge Sgt. Crowley? YES Who is racist? Answer: Harvard professor and Obama, NOT Sgt. Crowley.

President Obama is clearly a racist. Obama's father was black, his mother white and he was raised by his white grandparents.

Obviously, he has deep issues with white people.

Makes sense, if you're a wingnut douchebag talking head.

Stand by it all that you want. What proof do you have? Have you heard him talking about honkies and whitey? Yeah, didn't think so.

I mean, he hardly has any white guys working for him, oh wait, he's got plenty. If he were SOOOO racist, he'd have all minority staff.

Of course, these stupid claims don't hold up when held to the light. He's just spouting off complete and utter nonsense.

I'm guessing chauffeur, gated community, and relatively little contact with the 'outside' world. Just a guess, of course. He spouts his ridiculous nonsense from the top of his ivory tower. I haven't been in a real fight since middle-school myself. I've sparred a handful of times, lightly, over the years in a very sporting context, but I'm certainly not what anyone would consider a violent person.

HOWEVER... What I wouldn't give to box nine of these guys, 1 round apiece, for chartiy or something like that. That would be FUN. (I'd have to go the full 9 to 'win', but I'm also almost half the age of some of these guys, so it'd only be fair to get a fresh one of THEM every round.)

But these guys talk so tough... They are so convinced that they're "real men"... (and that being a liberal, someone like me couldn't possibly be...) But I bet none of them could last 2 minutes toe to toe against a REAL man. (IOW - someone who's NOT a complete and utter bedwetting coward hiding behind a microphone who can't even win an ARGUMENT without 'cheating' (lying, cutting mic) let alone a FIGHT.) And those that proudly own guns? (Limbaugh, Beck, etc...?) Take the guns away, and you're looking at 2-300 pounds of useless in a scrap. I guarentee it.

                </macho rant> LOL!!!

Eddie, you are so right, make that correct ha. They are cowards. They prove that, when they try to change what they have said, when called on something. Or play the victim of smear tactics etc. Plus they are all for war but are all draft dodgers.

One of my sons is a boxer and a kick boxer. We could challenge them to go around with you or him for charity. Hannity already proved what a lying coward he is, when he volunteered to be water-boarded for charity but chickened out. I noticed none of his big mouth cronies volunteered to take his place to save face.

You ask a good question. Some are taking anything from a minority about race as Racism becauseit mayhave some critique of US race relations.Racism is a position taken of superiority ofone race over others;Seeing a different level of humanity(or nonhumanity)in another group;supporting a different level of rights and treatment, denying access to education/oportunities basedon race.It appears that the right wing is trying to weaken any minority claims of racism/discrimination by using the so-called "reverse racism" charge at everything in disagreement with their position even if they are showing a lack of sensitivity or actual racism.I fault the Bush DOJ which virtually stopped investigating charges of minority racial discrimination and instead pursued reverse discrimination with a vigor. At the same time they were breaking discrimination laws when hiring for career positions in the DOJ based on political and social ideology.Remember Monica Goodling!??Additionally right wing radio and Fox News have been elevated to a prominent position to spout off things that are clearly racist while being very loose with facts. These behaviors have signalled that its ok to say almost anything about a minority and not have much repercussion!!You have people in authority positions defending Rush Limbaugh even though he clearly says racist things on a regular basis but find racism in everything said about race from the President,1st Lady,Judge Sotomayor,etc...

He did prove it. That's what the whole segment was about. He was proving why he feels the way he does. He added clips from things Obama and Michelle have said in the past that coincide with his point of view.

Eg. Saying his grandmother is a typical white person. What if someone were to say their grandmother was a typical black person that has racial bias bred in? Think about it.

There is NO truth in Beck's statement. He said it simply to play to people like you who actually ARE racist. Beck is an entertainer who is paid a lot of money to say outrageous things. Nothing more.

Now that he's a citizen, he has to be a racist, if not a racist then a pedophile, or a voodoo priest, or a human-eating alien from another planet, or something else evil. He has to be something really really bad so that his presidency is neutralized.

Glen Beck, et.al. are stuck in the first two stages of grief: denial and anger. They're grieving over the perceived loss of power of the rich white male. It's like the loss of a loved one to them.

At this rate, with some luck they just might get to the depression stage by the end of Obama's second term, and then they'll have to start all over when a Latina (or female Black, or Asian, etc.) Democrat becomes our new President in 2016! I doubt that this generation of AWMs (Angry White Males) will ever reach the final acceptance stage of grieving over their loss. We won't see it in our lifetime which is great news for businesses like Media Matters, Huffington Post, etc.

When will the American Right learn that he's doing this for ratings and ratings alone. All Beck and the rest oven there at FoxJazeera care about is ratings and trying to destroy this president. They are under the sad assumption that they are patriots when in reality they are not. He and people like him feel it's their duty to 'call this president out for what he is' when it's them that are the racists. It's very sad.

Also I think Beck is doing what is called as 'projection' which saying what he is and projecting that on Obama.

Why is anyone even discussing this ignorant IDIOT's comments??

Mr. Obama adored his WHITE mother and grandmother. Glenn Beck's mother and brother committed SUICIDE. Anyone but me think Beck is the one with the 'problem'?

Why are taxpayers airwaves filled with such hate?

Taxpayers should petition the FCC for Beck to apologize to the President or remove him from our airwaves.

Most of us "get it" despite the ramping up of racist rhetoric by extremist pundits.

RW Rule #1 -- Relentlessly accuse the other side of being what you are. If you demand allegiance to a narrow political/religious ideology, accuse the open-minded of facsism. If you believe America is a 'white' nation, accuse pluralists of racism. If you believe government should only serve the interests of the business and corporate sectors, accuse those holding democratic, egalitarian principles of socialism.

RW Rule #2 -- Code your rhetoric for easy main-streaming.

Liberal = anyone who disagrees with us (ie, "the enemy")
"Birther" = Americans unable to accept a black President
Socialism, facism, etc. = Un-American (ie, really bad stuff that we're against even though we've no clue what the words actually represent. That's why it's so easy to associate "liberal" with these -isms.)

RW Rule #3 -- After you screw the country up royally, use every means available to make your political opposition look even worse.

Simply apologizing, reflecting on failures, and revamping your party and its policies to offer the American voter a legitimate alternative at the ballot box appears to be too complicated for the right.

RW Rule #4 -- Media that makes you look good is "fair and balanced." Media even marginally critical of you is "liberal."

Maybe Beck stepped over a fatal line on this one; he's getting the Lou Dobbs treatment nationally, and doesn't have Rush Limbaugh's teflon-credentials ("Oh, that's just Rush.") and hard-core legion of ditto-heads willing to sink or swim with him. Since Beck claims to be "an entertainer," maybe this is his Michael Ritchie moment. We can only hope.
