      He is beyond nuts and Chris Matthews shouldn't be so insulting when someone asks why are you talking about this idiot.

      Chris Matthews seems to get this way when he is tried so I suggest that he gets some sleep and maybe let the crazy Donnie Deutsch fill in for him for a couple of days because right now he is sounding ridiculous and having Politico’s Martin is a joke.

      I watched his show once and I couldn't get past all the facial expressions, sighing and constant gestures and he sounds like Mr. Rogers. He's a weird guy and right-wingers seem to love him.

        "Sounds like" Fred Rogers? I beg to differ. The only similarity I can find is the Keds, or Chuck Traynors, or whatever he wore on his feet when he drummed 48 states out of his Union.

      I understand the point about wanting to avoid talking about Glennie or anyone like him. My daughters are angry with me for following Beck, even if I only do it through this site. But, I also think it is important to make him go away. The sooner he goes, the better off we will all be.

        I don't think he's going away, more's the pity. I found Matthews' observation that, "More people listen to Glenn Beck than read the Washington Post," very troubling. Granted, the Post isn't what it once was, either in readership or journalistic excellence, but still. It's available online.

        How many listeners are we talking about here? I heard a couple of weeks ago that this clown made 18 Mil a year, now everyone's throwing around a figure almost twice that. Amazing.

        That's my question exactly, and that's why I take exception to this. We've seen accusations of communism, fascism, socialism, lack of patriotism bordering on treason, now racism, allusions to Obama lighting people on fire, conspiracy theories involving ACORN, compares Obama to Hitler, warns his viewers that the government is going to come after them, and has entertained discussions on the possibility of civil war. I'm sure I'm not recalling every major piece of insanity, but that's what I recall lately.

        If you're not quite a nut, then what are you? Quirky? Eccentric? If this behavior can't be labeled as insane, then I don't know where you go from there. Apparently Beck has to claim that Obama has been sent from Alpha Centauri to destroy the Earth and he must be assassinated in order to be called a nut.
