Guys, you're looking at the birther movement as though it was a political calculation. It's not...for the unwashed masses it's just rampant, chaotic, undisciplined racism with no other purpose than to ventilate their hostility towards a black President. As for Beck, it's all about the aggrandizement of Glenn Beck, to elevate his status to the Rush Limbaugh realm, and to cash in on the money that he can make in the process. Glenn Beck could give a rat's you know what about elections...he's not even part of that system or political process. It's all about Glenn Beck...

Right you are. The chaos was evident in Beck's inchoate gig on Fux & Fiends. First he claimed the President has shown, on numerous occasions, that he has a core hatred of whites. Then when Brian Kilmeade (the Voice of Reason!?) challenged him, he backtracked. "I'm not saying he doesn't like white people....I'm saying he's a racist." Let's face it folks, when you contradict yourself twice in two minutes the wheels are off the bus.

Can't you people get it through your heads it's not racism. It's called knowing your President like we knew all the others. You people know absolutely nothing about him.

Put the blame on your democrat friends. It was Hillary and her supporters demanding the BC. Know the facts before opening mouth.

The birfer movement is result of the lowest common denominator in society, i.e., the conservatives, being so deranged and unhinged and out of power. Their madness and inability to accept reality is not new, rather, it has been masked because the extremists held the majority. Faux and am hate radio helped create this movement. Their radical propaganda became mainstream and hate and racism became acceptable in their eyes. Reich-wingers should not be surprised that they are a permanent minority. You earned it.

They don't want to win elections. They want to overturn them.

These talking heads seem to think Beck & Limbaugh are running for office in 2010. They aren't trying to be elected to anything. The sticking point with these folks is Beck & Limbaugh have a huge audience and make a far more money than they make.
