And those couches they are sitting on probably came from China, the cameras used to put them on air are from Japan, and their shoes are from Italy. These "people" really are an embarrassment to humans.

Coors....the "beer" for teabagging redneck hicks. Of course these twits are pimping the reich-wing owned Coors. Shocking.

Last I checked, Bud Light is brewed in St. Louis. Did they move St. Louis to France without telling us?

I think Red Stripe is the only import of the three beers mentioned. But of course, Gates is a Communist, so we should expect him to drink a beer with the word "red" in it, right?

Geez. The pettiness is just appalling. How are these people not embarrassed at obsessing on this nonsense?

Blue Moon is a Miller Beer product.

Budweiser, as we know, is an Anheiser Busch product.

        Red Stripe, well, Jamaica.

2 out of 3 ain't bad, considering most mainstream American beers are not so good.

That's what I was thinking. What's this creep complaining about? Just whizzing in the wind I guess. I'm sure she'd found something to complain about no matter what. No micro-brews would equal Obama hates the small business man. All micro-brews would mean he has it in for big business. No foreign beers would mean Obama is intentionally alienating our allies. All foreign beers = he hates America. Thank god he didn't order a heifeweisen with rasberry. The nation may have never recovered.

Good point. Red Stripe tastes like brewed formaldehyde, Blue Moon is a lame, LAME attempt at a German beer, and Bud, well....no explanation needed.

True enough. Blue Moon is a lame attempt at a Belgian wheat beer though. Not very well done. Hoegaarden is what it aspires to be, but it's not.

Being that 2 out of the 3 come from the Boston area, what's wrong with some Sam Adams (Brewer, Patriot)? Or maybe some local Virginia / Maryland brew?

I mean, come on folks. It's beer.

                Thanks for the correction.

I imagine if they ordered microbrews, the reich-wing outrage would be that they are acting like elitists....because, we all know that only "elitists" order microbrews...and lattes.

Folks seem to be forgetting that Bud (Anhauser Busch) was bought by a Belgian Co. So anything Bud is not an "American Beer". Nor is it an American product anymore than any other foreign company's product that is produced on U.S. soil (i.e Toyota cars assembled in the U.S.)

Have you really run out of ideas? Are you really bitching about the beer they are drinking? It's a personal taste. I would safely bet that all of your clothes do not come America, American designers, and every aspect of your life is American products.

I for one do not like beer, but the only beer I can stand is Alexander Keiths.

      Are you kidding me?

I'm not one to suggest using beer as the best means of settling a dispute, but to nitpick on the type of BEER each person wants? This topic is stretched so thin I can see through it.

I'm stunned that Beck isn't there to use his own alcoholism as a means to lambast the President and claim that he hates microbreweries.

Give Glennie the chance, he will probably say something this evening. Nothing more sanctimonious than a dried out drunk or ex-smoker! He was blasting Obama for wanting to take a vacation in August, but I guess he was okay with Bush being on vacation for a full third of his Presidency.

My apologies, but I just want to add these lyrics from an appropriate song...

late weekend night and i'm at the bojar grill
i got decisions to be made between lager and ale
when through the kitchen door come the dancing girl
then everything on the menu mattered
oh the thoughts in my head
      oh if she knew
i hope she'll nod at this drunken bar slob
'cause i'm ready, willing and able
yes i'm ready, willing and able
over to the jukebox i staggered
for a love song to scatter my body before her
didn't have change and i lost my damn brains
      so i started humming in-a-godda-da-vida
i'll pay the bar tab and even the cab
off to the hotel we'll wallow

      Lager & Ale

Let's see, I think Bud is owned in Inbev, a Belgium company. Blue Moon (Coors) is owned by Molson, a Canadian Company, and Red Stripe is owned by Diageo, a London based company which also owns Guiness, Harp, etc. The sad thing is that people like Carlson think that beer choices are more important than trying to help move us toward a less racist society.
