Why are conservatives so scared of everything? They all claim to be tough guys but they whine like that woman with snot dripping off her nose in Blair Witch: "I'm so scared."

They're cowards. Pure and simple. C-O-W-A-R-D-S. That why they were so quick to sell out this country's values, and all principles of international relations after 9-11. It's why they want to torutre, and detain people without trial. It's why they'll never really accpet minorites or women (to accept, on must first understand.) It's why they're all so religious: They're afraid to even question things. Much easier to cling to dogma, rather than examine it. They HAVE to believe that God's looking out for everyone, because the alternative is to frightening for them. (Especially becasue they believe that most [white] men [in power] are exactly like them!)

Conservatism REQUIRES cowardice. You have to FEAR change. You have to FEAR the unkonw. You have to FEAR asking questions. (You have to fear EVERYTHING.)

LIBERALISM requires a certain amount of courage - because change does come with risks and unknowns. But inaction due to fear of the unknown is simply not a defensible philosophy.

Among teabagging conservatives, women are just as scary and evil as terrorists.

You really have to wonder what exactly Ginsberg said to him in that lagoon when they were skinny dipping together to make him so scared.

He said it's 50-50. I can understand such sentiment, but in no way would I limit that solely because the Democrat Party is running things. I distrust the Republicans just as much.

You know, the party full of Democrats?

          Their logo looks like this:

You know, there's nothing to make you look more like you don't know what you're talking about than the mispronunciation or outright wrong terms associated with the subject you're arguing.

But hey, if those who insist on using "Democrat party" don't mind appearing ignorant, it's no skim off my knows.

If you think it's interchangeable with the Democratic Party, we'll start calling the Republicans chickenhawk, teabagging, racist, ignorant douchebags.

And I really wouldn't care, because I'm not a Republican.

That's not what should frighten you, Dr Weiner. Knowing you can't travel to England because they don't want you and not traveling anywhere else because the USA might not want you back should frighten you. Maybe you should go to a Communist country. You always say America is one, you should feel right at home.

On the bright side, you might actually learn what a totalitarian country is really like, and maybe you'd finally shut your ignorant piehole.

Did it frighten l'il Mikey under Cheney/Bush? I thought not. "Targeting troops and anti-abortionists?" Right. No returned troops or anti-abortionists have ever committed acts of domestic terrorism, have they?

I love the way Mikey has taken Cogito out of the quote. He only knows he's alive when he's making noise, not when he's thinking.

        Typical

And DHS under Bush didn't frighten him? My husband has nearly 30 years of government service under his belt. One of the first things he had to say about the Bush Administration (before 9/11!) was that they were obsessed with security and keeping information secret. And we do have to worry about American born terrorists. We had several in just the last few months, and these people have drawn their inspiration from people like Savage.

I -knew- this would happen. I knew at some point the Democrats would end up in control and at that point, the Republicans would look at the rules THEY THEMSELVES enacted, look at who was holding the reins, and FREAK OUT! And it's happening.

It was okay when Bushco targeted people who were protesting his war. It was okay to detain foreign nationals with no trail, no lawyer, and no due process as long as all these things were orchestrated by Republicans. Now the Democrats are in charge, and suddenly, Bush's Homeland Security Department, set up with the backing of the Republican majority, is SCARIER than Al Qaeda.

You heard it hear first, folks: Michael Savage just said that Bush turned the U.S. into Nazi Germany. How long will it take Rush Limbaugh to smack him back into line?

Wait a minute I'm confused. Savage is scared of the DHS in part because it is governement expansion.

But DHS was created by the Bush Administation.

So that means Savage was scarred of the Bush administration and that Bush was worse then Al-Qaeda?

Or is it only that he's scarred of any thing run by a women who works for a black man because he's a sexest racist?

Weinermobile... make sure to let us know when you're way more afraid of our government than Al Qaeda because we don't want you feeling any discomfort.

In fact, I'm sure we could collect enough money to send you to Pakistan's border region with Afghanistan so you can hang with Al Qaeda and the Talban.

At least then you wouldn't have to fear your own government. Then you'd have something to really fear.
