And there it is... Bam! To Lou Dobbs, President Obama's indisputably legitimate US citizenship "look[s] bad".

Pssst! Mr. Dobbs? I have a hot tip for you: There is a list (I have a copy) of many communists currently working in high level jobs in the State Department. Commies, Mr. Dobbs! In OUR government.

No it doesn't. You don't have to give credence to every crackpot theory that comes along. Obama released his birth cert a year ago. It was verified by the state of HI. It has recently been verified again. It makes absolute sense to dismiss people who still refuse to believe it.

These folks are being dismissed because they HAVE NO CASE. Under any convoluted theory of why Obama isn't a "natural born" citizen, they lose because he was BORN in Hawaii, USA. That makes him a natural born American citizen. The birth certificate provided by and verified by the State of Hawaii proves it. The birth announcements in the newspaper which were released by the Health Department [not the parents or the grandparents] proves it.

That Orly Taitz (sp?) weirdo was on the Colbert Report Tuesday claiming that Obama could not be a citizen because his father wasn't a citizen. Colbert noted that such a requirement wasn't actually in the constitution and mentioned that Chester A. Arther (21st president, 1881-85) had a British father. None of that made an impression on her. At some point it must be admitted, as MM pointed out the other day, that facts simply are not relevant to these people.

...there are half a million Americans questioning this...

      Because they're idiots!!!!!

BTW, someone claimed that Obama put out an instruction very shortly after his inauguration that his long form birth certificate was not to be inspected by anyone. My reply was "Yes, well, GeeDubya put out much the same instruction concerning his records as Texas Governor and American justice says: 'No fishing expeditions!' "
