Are Republicans still wondering why they win so little of the black vote?

What's also interesting is that right-wing professional liars on TV and radio insist that minorities can be anything and achieve anything in the land of opportunity just by applying themselves, but then are quick to dismiss any prominent member of a minority that is an achiever as simply a product of affirmative action.

The Republicans have basically given up on trying to win the black vote, or any significant portion of it. They're going back to what the "Southern Gentlemen" were so adept at doing in the hundred years following the Civil War: suppressing the black vote. The war on ACORN is a major part of that campaign.

That is one hell of a good point Pete...

They're counting on the ignorance of the American people. Maybe that's not that good of a bet anymore.

The republicans are on what I would call the modern day version of
"Birth of a Nation" campaign. The original movie was put out as a white supremacist response to the social reconstruction after slavery. Now republicans are put out their propaganda version as a response to the social reconstruction after the election of Obama.

The republicans don't seem that interested in the Hispanic vote either.
