Like The View, I applaud Glenn's right to free speech, while at the same time condemning everything he says. I loved it when he came on their show. They made him squirm! Couldn't happen to a nice horse's patoot.

Glenn spewing hatred has nothing to do with free speech. Freedom speech means that we are guaranteed that our speech will NOT be constrained by government interference . . . says nothing about private entities [i.e., cable opinion networks] FIRING people for talking smack.

All that is true, but if you give an idiot a place to speak freely, he may very well hang himself on his own tongue. And in the meantime, we are free to call him on every foolish utterance. If he starts calling for an armed revolt, it will be too much and there will be legal consequences. It is the only reason that I pay any attention to him.

Ironically, the headshots on his own site are a bit creepy. One of them is a poo-eating-smirk and the other one is "mock-the-retard" goofy. Last night, he glanced into the camera and smile and my stomach turned!

After all is said and done, AmTrak officials confirmed Beck's story concerning the Goldberg/Walter's lies and now the "ladies" panties are in a tight bunch. How dare he expose them as liars!

And you are getting this from where? Please provide a solid link showing that AmTrak officials confirmed Beck's version of the story that caused the substance of their argument?

Pretty funny, considering that when Beck was on even HE didn't confirm his original story, and admitted that he'd gotten the main substance of it wrong.

AmTrak officials confirmed that the seats in fact were reserved for Walters and Goldberg. They were escorted to the seats, which were covered with paper.

That is truly pathetic. Beck admitted he was lying and now you are really going to try and say AmTrak says he wasn't. How silly and pathetic the arguments on the right get in defense of their new political leaders (the TV talking heads).

Beck admitted that the verbal exchange between himself and Walters and Goldberg happened in a different sequence than he originally stated. Goldberg and Walters contended Beck lied when he stated that AmTrak officials stated the seats had been reserved for Walters and Goldberg. That is why the always classy Goldberg referred to Beck as a 'lying sack of dog mess'. True class!

Man, it just burns my behind when complete BS that's spewed from the right is bought without any critical analysis at all.

Then again, that's what's going to ultimately lead to the continuation of the GOP implosion, so I guess I should just grab my popcorn and Junior Mints and pull up a seat.

I did a little research on this, to see if I could find a source. I did find a Newsbusters article from a guy named Scott Johnson who works for Breitbart TV, he goes into a long hairsplitting assassination piece that tries to prove that Glenn was the good guy and The View were just witches, but really, he provides no names or facts, he just says he talked to someone from Amtrak. The best that can be said is that Amtrak doesn't have a policy of reserving seats but individual conductors have great leaway in dealing with the passengers on the manifest. And that might include saving seats, now, if the conductor decided to save a table for a group of well known people, who may very well have arrived with a police escourt, in order to avoid missing the train, the group may not have known the seats were saved for them, which would make their assertions and Glenn's assertion both true based on their experience. Glenn is a sack of dog mess, he was creepy in how he portrayed Barbara Walters in his little rant, and I am so glad that Whoopie was honest enough not to even pretend to make nice, and Glenn's NASTY demand for an apology just goes to show you that Whoopie was right in her assessment. And it all boils down to the fact that the Acela conductor didn't recognize Glennie and treat him special and he was jealous. Now, where is that pooperscooper?

Glenn never asserted that either Walters or Goldberg knew that the seats were or were not saved for them. They had an escort for obvious reasons but it stands to reason the seats were in fact saved but was not openly stated because AmTrak prefers to limit the practice. Neither Walters or Goldberg looked in to whether the seats had, in fact, been reserved for them. Instead, The View claimed Beck simply lied about it.

Glenn was his usual, ugly, distorting self and he talked trash about the women of The View, so they brought him on and called him on it. Glenn is a dog, who was jealous and embarassed in front of his wife because he didn't rank special treatment, and there is nothing more to it than that.

Good for her. I'm not a fan, but I think we should encourage all conservatives to keep each other in check. Everyone should be able to make charges when warranted, but racism is a very serious accusation to make, and so Beck should have solid substantiation for it. Expressing that is highly preferable to supporting him out of partisanship or declining to comment because it's politically inconvenient.
