Porky just can't bring himself to admit that a part of the Stimulus has been successful. Therefore, he'll do what he always does... LIE ABOUT IT.

Of course. That's what he's done his whole life.
That's why he lives alone after divorcing three wives, getting stoned on prescription pills.

If you're referring to their minds, no. It's a more recent development.

      Rush is right.

Three federal agents busted through my door yesterday, threw me in the back of my '84 trailduster and drove me down to the dealership. Next thing I know, the dealer's got my trailduster, and I'm driving home in a daze behind the wheel of some little piddle jumper that I don't want.

That almost happened, all because a lot of people refuse to recognize Obama's socialist muslim agenda.

As Rush explained, Neon, it's "THE ONLY POSSIBLE ANSWER!!"

This one is pretty hilarious, not just this ignoramus insulting others' intelligence, but the idea that his faithful dittobots will probably not check it out anywhere else, will consider themselves informed on the issue, and will continue to worship their flabby messiah.

How far gone do you have to be to take this lump of nothing seriously?

I find myself regarding the whole right wing as desperate nutcases more often lately. I remember the good old days when it was just verbal hyperbole in the course of good-natured debate, but now it's seeming to be more reality to view them as delusional.

I'm trying to think of one, just one, right wing pundit who I could, on occasion, actually take seriously. But I consistently keep drawing a blank.

They really have become caricatures of themselves.

I hear ya, ND. There used to be a handful of decent con posters here, but I don't see much of them lately. Can you blame them? Would you want to be associated with the Pointofview/ANutterAmerican/Proudconservative/Kokothemonkey gang?

And that's not even considering the new & improved crazy of the Birfers who are popping up here lately. Tough times for a semi-reasonable conservative to walk around in public.

Awww... you miss Barney. That's sweet.

I confess - I do too. A little misguided, but a sincere heart.

No, that's not what I meant. The real Kool-Aid drinkin crazies listed above are still around, it's the small group of halfway-sane wingnuts that are scarce.

Barney's got me on his ignore list with a few other people, so that saves some time. As you mentioned, it's tough to take any of them seriously, and as long as you do pretend to take them seriously, they'll try to get you into their crazy "debates".

Much better to be honest with them, expose them to a little reality, and be put on their "Ignore lists".
