Hey Rush, let me let you in on a little secret...

We don't hate the military at all. Matter of fact, who is my current employer? Yes, the US Army. I kind of like the military, and I like the soldiers that I work with.

Jon Stewart, and Colbert have been big supporters of the military through actual actions rather than just words (example, Colbert's wriststrong campaign). Unlike you, who just says you support them, yet, you do nothing of the sort.

And yet he wants them to remain in harm's way whenever possible. Maybe you should take the neocon-brand blinders off your eyes.

I am also in the military.

I also kind of like it. I also like the soldiers I work with (except this conservative who sits next to me in my office).

I love Stewart and Colbert. I trust them both. Which is why I can't wait until monday night when Stewart comes back with something Big against Limbaugh. It's gonna happen.

      Rush sounds so confused...

Here's a devout caller trying to support Rush and Rush just can't get over himself.

        Really.

Geez, Rush - here's a guy who, in an unchaperoned moment, happened to try limpaughnalysis of a personal experience, and was just looking to you to validate him... and you leave him hanging out to dry because you're too stupid to get the concept he just told you about?

And then to pretend you hadn't heard of the "Daily Show"... there's just no excuse for that. You're slipping, Rush. You're getting old, fat, your 3 wives are just memories, the oxy effects have caught up. Those who are living are oblivious to your hollow, gray, existence. You're no longer the center of the universe. You're merely surrounded by sycophants and domestic help who bring your pharms. And now you have nothing left...

        Rosebud....rose...bud.....

Yeah rush, I hated the military so bad that I joined the Marines and served my country. Silly me, I should have got a doctor to claim I had a pimple on my butt and get out of serving, that would have made me a great patriot...

Jon Stewart give the people more news and information in one segment of his show than rush does in 15 hours of his program.

Jon Stewart should be the press secretary. And Colbert. Maybe Colbert can be like, the substitue press sec. or Jon's assistant.

Actually, I think Colbert should be the Press Sec, mostly because he's quicker and edgier than Stewart. I love them both, don't get me wrong, but I think Colbert is the faster thinking of the 2 on his feet. Stewart could do all of his writing.

No, most American's hate when our military is used under false pretenses and it gets our brave men and women killed. I have NEVER heard anyone I know say anything against our own military, we love and respect our them.

Our military is made up of our own sons and daughters and we never want them in harms way but IF they have to be please let it be at that point the only solution.

It's not the military that people hate it's the chicken-hawk old men that use/abuse it like it's a toy.

I guess this is where so many of the wingnuts who post here get their training in logic and debate.

        X happens because of Y

X= anything that seems to conflict with conservative mythology

Y= some crazy-azz thing wingnuts have talked themselves into believing.

Right... the fact that the military gets socialized health care and that's it's superior to the private care we get is evindence that Stewart has sold out.

As opposed to evidence that socialized medicne actually WORKS, or that dem's don't in fact hate the military, or that Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot. (To borrow a phrase from the honorable Senator from Minnesota.)

Tman, I probably catch parts of Rush's show one or two days a week, maybe a ten minute segment, and it's amazing to me. Almost without fail, I hear him contradict himself within a minute or so, and if he's got a caller on the line they make the shift right along with him.

I heard a bit this morning where a caller had been programmed to think that taxes on booze or cigarettes translated to the government dictating his lifestyle. He was wondering if Obama would outlaw extreme sports or the NFL because of the high potential for injuries.

Boss Hogg went on a long rant about health care, bemoaning the fact that people might have to be accountable for their choices, that it was somehow oppressive or unfair for people to be treated differently according to their habits and choices.

Then he summed up by noting how complex our country is, and how horrible it is that Obama's policy would treat everybody the same.I guess this was an attempt to move back to the "Socialism" theme.

It's really stunning sometimes. The guy has trouble sticking to his own BS for more than a few seconds at a time.

Anyone remember Fox's The Half Hour News Hour as an answer to The Daily Show?

The H H N H is still on. They renamed it "Fox & Fiends" and moved it to mornings. It's much funnier now, too. I loved the Obama's Beer parody where they played a fanatical anti-Obama network where analyzing his choice of beer is a legitimate news story. Hilarious.

You should give it another chance. Frankly, they're giving Colbert a run for his money now.

Yeah, I noticed that too, Reanna. Maybe he doesn't watch it, but what kind of bubble does he live in that he doesn't know what the show is? He does, however, seem pretty sure that the host of the show he's not familiar with is a state -run lib who hates the military.

Rush also claimed to be unfamiliar with Curious George when some wingnuts made shirts depicting Obama as that character. One of the most popular childrens books of all time, originally published in the 40s, and I believe a pretty big seller when Rush was just a little tyke.

Then again, books and comedy may not have been allowed in the Limbaugh household. Those things can interfere with the nurturing of a right wing brain.

Don't listen to PurpleState, Rush. Please, please, take on Jon Stewart. He won't be able to handle your scary smarts. In fact, go on his show. You'll totally destroy him for sure. Just like you did when you attacked Obama, Michael J. Fox, Claire McCaskill, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, etc....
