We can do more than petition. PEOPLE, STOP SUPPORTING RACISTS, BIRTHERS! We can stop the Lou Dobbs, Glenn Becks, Sean Hannitys, and Rush Limbaughs of the World. It only takes 5 minutes. Its called, HIT EM IN HE POCKET, AND PUT YOUR $ WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS.

      (1) Find out who the sponsors are of these shows. (In the case of Glenn Beck, GM, Nestle, Kraft, and Sprint to name a few.) Just go on their websites and look!)

(2)"HIT EM' IN THE POCKET!" Go to the sponsors websites and send them a message via their contact forms, RE: SUBJECT: "I WILL NO LONGER SPONSOR RACISM!" TELL THEM, I WILL NO LONGER BUY YOUR PRODUCTS BECAUSE YOU SPONSOR LOU DOBBS, GLENN BECK, RUSH LIMBAUGH, ETC.

      (3) THEN, TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES TO DO THE SAME. YOU CAN CUT AND PASTE THE TEXT FROM HERE!

      (4) Then, PUT YOUR $ WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS. DO NOT BUY THESE COMPANIES PRODUCTS ANYMORE, UNTIL THEY STOP SPONSORING THESE LUNATICS. That will teach CNN, Fox News, and others, for putting these lunatics on the air. You may miss your Nestles crunch bar for a while, but they will get the idea. WE CAN DO THIS PEOPLE!

Exactly, Mr. Moulitsas. The very core of racism is an irrational fear of someone different than you, you can't overcome irrationality. It's like hitting your head against a wall over and over again expecting a different outcome than the one you keep getting.

im surprised our resident right wing nutcase glenn beck isnt on this case. fox news has actually seemed pretty decent during this whole "birther" process (even though im sure majority of their viewers belief this stuff), and ironically, its cnn whose acting strange about it. first pat buchanan's racism on msnbc and now lou dobbs' conspiracy assumptions on cnn.

That is the nature of conspriracy nuts the more evidence they have contrary to their opinions the more determined they are that their insanity is correct. In short, BIRTHERS nuts and those that embrace them -- for whatever reason -- a danger to our society and country.

I will admit to it at the first I found them an interesting and amusing freakshow like a two-headed chicken. I thought they would vanish when exposed to the light of day. However, at this point they need to be committed to history and an asylumn.

Well, the press claims to show a copy of Obama's birth Certificats. That is inadequate. What if they were in on the conspiracy also? And they probably are. I was not in Hawaii at the time that those newspapers were printed, so how do we know that they aren't falsely coming up with a doctored copy of newspaper articles? I'm sure they bribed someone to put a copy of a false birth certificate in the Hawaii state records. For every sane response to the birther controversy, someone can always say "That may be true, but." Any evidence is untrue or is questionable. You have pictures--doctored. Eye witness--bribed to lie. The entire population of the US--They believe it because they want to believe it despite the absence of evidence that would satisfy me.
