Olberman has absolutely no credibility and is so partisan I wouldn't believe him if he said, "the sun will come up tomorrow !"
Here is a huge problem with what he said.
      1) Kenya did declare their independency in 1961 and you have absolutely no idea how the Govt referred to themselves. You provide no similar documents or even make reference to any documents. Basically, Olberman siad, its not true because I said it is ! People like Olberman are destroying our freedoms and our constitution. I guess none of that really matters. If this is real, then OBAMA GETS IMPEACHED and CNN ends up with an awful lot of egg on their face ! Keep up the good work Keith, in 10 years we will be just like all the other 3rd world countries !!!

You may want to wipe the foam off the corners of your mouth, guy; people will think you have rabies.

Here's how you trolls sound whenever someone criticizes a right-wing gasbag, usually in much milder terms than you have used to slander Olbermann:

"You godless secular humanist communist fascist socialist liberals are trying to silence (Hannity/O'Reilly/Beck/Coulter/etc. etc. etc.)'s freedom of speech! You hate the Constitution! You hate America! You all need to be deported! God hates liberals! Waaaah!"

Maybe when you start sounding like an adult, maybe real grown-ups will start listening to you...

We do have an idea what the Kenyan government called itself. Kenya did not become a republic until December 12, 1964. See what a government calls itself comes from how it is set up to function.
Also, the city was not part of Kenya at the time of Obama’s birth.

Olberman [sic] has absolutely no credibility

We'll see if you ever get around to proving that.

and is so partisan I wouldn't believe him if he said, "the sun will come up tomorrow !"

It's not good to be proud of your ignorance, guy.

Here is a huge problem with what he said.
        1)

Don't use a "1)" if you're not going to use a "2)"; didn't you learn that in 8th grade last year?

Kenya did declare their independency [sic] in 1961 and you have absolutely no idea how the Govt referred to themselves.

HisRoyalMattress disproved that above. By the way, people who aren't good at reading should avoid mind-reading.

You provide no similar documents or even make reference to any documents. Basically, Olberman [sic] siad [sic], its [sic] not true because I said it is !

Evidently you're convinced that this Kenyan birth certificate is the real deal. How will you cope with the proofs of its falsity given on conservative websites?

People like Olberman [sic] are destroying our freedoms and our constitution.

I'm curious as to how you believe that. I think ForTheLoveOfElipsis is right about you foaming at the mouth.

I guess none of that really matters. If this is real,

It isn't, as rational conservatives realize.

        then OBAMA GETS IMPEACHED

Evidently you haven't got to your first U.S. Government class in middle school yet. "Impeached" simply means, "officially accused of wrongdoing." It doesn't mean "removed from office." Two presidents have been impeached, but neither was removed.

and CNN ends up with an awful lot of egg on their face !

Why? Haven't you noticed that CNN--specifically Lou Dobbs--have been the one promoting the birther story? If, in your bizarre little fantasy world, Obama gets removed from office, then all the networks except CNN end up with egg on their faces. You're not even being logical within your own parameters.

Keep up the good work Keith, in 10 years we will be just like all the other 3rd world countries !!!

Another sure sign of immature writing is the multiple punctuation. I won't even comment on the logic of the statement, since it doesn't exist, anyway.

And back from the beginning, did you prove that Olbermann (the correct spelling) has "absolutely no credibility," or did you come closer to proving that of yourself? I'll leave that question to any fair-minded reader.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe he didn't because all you have to do is pick up a history book or do a Google search to look it up? Also, you're gonna be really embarrassed if the sun does come up tomorrow. I'm just sayin'.

I just watched Olbermann's special comment. It was brilliant.

Maybe while the corporate thugs travel around the country trying to intimidate pro-reform politicians, real constituents of the senators and representatives working for the health industry can show up at their meetings and ask them some pointed questions like... what are you going to do when you lose the next election?

Well put dmhack. I believe that this tactic has potential. If these Democratic politicians have to be shamed in to doing the right thing, then so be it.

As for Republicans, I don't think they care if people know they are simply parroting lines given to them by their insurance company masters. Most of them come from states and districts where all they have to do is robotically repeat GOP talking points on guns, God, and Gays and they'll keep their seats anyway.

Proving their hypocrisy is always entertaining, but it's high time the Obama administration utilized their grass roots campaign system to shame these "blue dogs" in front of their constituents (or at least threaten them with as much). We'll see.

While I liked the tactic, it honestly didn't seem like one of his best efforts. His delivery wasn't up to his usual Special Comment standards, and not until he reached his peroration did his energy really seem focused. As much as we do need to call out those people whose decisions are influenced mostly by the health insurance industry, we need to keep our focus and our fire on teh industry itself. They must be feeling some kind of heat to be orchestrating these astroturf outbursts at the town hall meetings (Rachel had an excellent piece on the phenomenon just after Olbermann), so we have to not only keep up, but increase the pressure on them...

I cannot wait until 2012 and see who the G.O.P. picks to get their ass handed to them in the presidental campaign. They are still in denial that the train has left the station and no racist are allowed. It is 2009 and you would think that the G.O.P. would put the racecard away.

If the Republican party continues on this path of national lampoon politics and race baiting they will never be taken as a serious party for a long time.

The birthers, teabaggers, Joe the Plumber, trickle down economics, tax cuts for the rich, fighting healthcare changes, voting down stimilus to save Americans 401k's,standing by Beck and the Fox race hate rhetoric and the list goes on and on. This group is the reason why Obama won by a landslide in 2008. America is sick of it. These people are blinded by the color of Obamas skin and do not realize that he is fighting for them.

Under the Bush leadership the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. Obama is trying to even the playing field.

Keith and the MSNBC crowd is where the young voters and diverse intelligent Americans get their news and marching orders.

America is headed in a new direction and the G.O.P. is a lost party in the old wilderness viewing Fox and living in denial.

The Republic Party needs to have their own 1984 moment similar to the Democrats. The Democrats were very out of focus in 1984, so they ran Fritz Mondale on a simon-pure left-wing platform and lost 48 states. While it hurt the leftmost fringe of the party, in the end it strengthened the party by finally "cleaning out the chips" of the fringe, allowing the party to move toward the center in the eventual guise of Bill Clinton and making the party viable again.

The Repubs need a similar cleaning-out in 2012. For the party to have any relevance or viability agin, it needs its fringe cleaned out, which I think will only happen if its given the controls of the 2012 nominee. The Repubs need to have flat-earth birther wingnut at the head of their ticket to be cleaned out a la Mondale; only when the tinfoil-hat brigade which current runs the Republic Party is shown to be politically bankrupt can the party again move to the center and be relevant again...

Uncle Pat was on Matthews last night and actually said that the Repugs are gaining ground by lying about the health care bill and that Romney has a good shot of winning in 2012.

It's time to put Pat out to pasture.

This goes so well with the video of David Shuster and Tamron Hall giving Orly Taitz an actual attempt to defend herself.

It has been proven that this certificate is a doctored copy of a Australian birth certificate. It was taken from a genealogy web site and altered buy another person not related to him and changed it as a joke, he is also from Australia. The guy whose certificate it is, is now worried what else the may do with his birth certificate.

The things that Keith is saying is true. Whoever did this is laughing their tush off at how many conservative idiots they managed to fool with such an obvious fake. He admits doing it and I am sure he never thought they would fall for it since the names and numbers used were so obvious.

Get over it, he is an American Citizen. Most of, if not all states have gone to the boring generic paper certificates. I went on a cruise for New Years 2000. I decided to get a Passport since everyone was so freaked out that the world would end as we know it, in case there any problems. I couldn't find the one from the hospital with the footprint so I went to the health department and got a copy, which looks like the one President Obama provided. Now many hospital don't provide a fancy certificate, many give cards or a plain document.

It is a sad that we had two elections 2000 and 2004, that were rigged to make sure Bush 2 won. Remember Gore had Florida by a mile until Bush lost states they thought were a shoe in, then all at once the Florida votes were a problem and they couldn't be sure. Do you still not understand that it was not a consequence that it was the state that he brother Jeb ran? I told my husband at that moment, "If he wins, this will be the most corrupt presidency ever in the US.", unfortunately I was right. Four years later the new computer voting machines in Ohio were set up to change all Kerry votes to Bush, sometimes before the voter left the booth. I didn't think that they would also cause the financial destruction of not just the US but most of the world.

You people are accusing Obama of what Cheney did twice, cheat the American People. Yes Cheney, Bush was capable of reading the newspaper much less run this country.

President Obama is half black and half white. He was raised by his white relatives while his black father moved from place to place, woman to woman, with little contact to his son. If he were to be prejudiced it would more likely be his black family that he would have a problem with, they are the ones who abandoned him, not the white family who raised him.

It scares me that the Conservative Hierarchy can sit in a room and think up talking points everyday, then send them to all of the conservative talk show hosts, who then spew this garbage out and you people suck it in and believe every word. It reminds me of the movie The Wall where all of the kids are lined up looking like zombies on a conveyor belt heading to be molded the way the masters want and unable to freely be themselves.

Someday maybe you will realize that you have the ability to change the channel where you may find the truth elsewhere.

Tomorrow's talking point....listen to the Ed Show or other shows on MSNBC or turn the radio to Air America or any local radio station that isn't run by the right. Online read the Huffington Post etc.
