        I got a thumbs down on another thread for comparing the drive-by thumber to the town hall screechers, in their similar lack of ideas and aversion to discussion, and their shared "I know what I hate" childlike reflexes.

        And I think Dobbs' "Don't say Birfers!" request is the equivalent of your aunt asking not to mention Uncle Bill's drinking when you're visiting. Even as Uncle Bill is falling down the back steps into his own vomit.
