      Let's cut to the chase; the right wing opposes living-will/DNR orders because stopping heroic measures means fewer billable services to the patient. The Republic Party slogan on this issue should simply read:

      A Pulse at Any Cost

      Of course Republicans have distorted the living will provision, along with everything else about health care reform...it's what they do. It's what defines them. They can't help themselves...it's part of their genetic makeup. Karl Rove only became KARL ROVE because Republicans approved of his tactics. FOX News dominates the cable news market because Republicans DON NOT WANT fair and balanced news reporting...they want distortion.       I wonder how many of the Republicans in congress have living wills? I'd bet it's a lot more than most people think.

      When they deal with such an issue it's prudent planning. When it's suggested that most Americans should consider living wills, they call it... murder.
