Wait... Jabba the Hutt was on his show?!
(Sorry - I reserve that comparison for Limbaugh. It's too grandiose for Beck. He's more like Greedo.)
Also, I should have #48 posted tonight, and it will use another reference from the same movie. NO ONE can quote movie references like an autistic [my son, about whom most of the comic strip is based.] Sometimes it gets hard to even ID them all!

Journalism's Train Wreak.
I thought Glen was going to accuse Obama of a Deep Seated Hatred of the Chinese Culture.
Instead He Blew on something that wasn't Kosher.
Speak truth to power.
Mr. News
If a commentator tried to pull the crap that Douchey Beck does during W's administration there'd be an FCC investigation and senate hearings for treason.
Beck fuels the crazies that think their opinion is above the rest. Who cares if the majority of Americans want Health Care reform, I'm going to shout down Congressmen and their constituents at a town hall meeting that I was bussed in from 100 miles to attend. I'll get on TV shouting the talking points that Dick Armey told me to.
Beck made that empathetic call to his crazies to not blow anything up, but then he returns back to fueling them with hate.
Good job Becky... way to be the clown that you are.
There is nothing funny about what Beck did . . . there is NOTHING funny about anything that Beck does, nor is there anything worthwhile in anything he says.
But to be fair, you also unintetionally debunked the myth by some conservatives that free markets will always result in a public good. Clealy Beck is no "benefit" to the political discourse in America. Fear, irrationality, and stupidity sell.
See the difference?
My reply was for dave, same as yours. I think we should blame the misunderstanding on MMFA's new reply feature, since it's soemtimes hard to determine which posts are directed at whom. The thing is pretty bad.
"I didn't vote for him but he's my president, and I hope he does a good job."
John Wayne said that about President Kennedy.
He is your president, Mr. Beck, even if you did not vote for him. Take just one moment out of your busy day, and reflect on a similar birthday cake for our previous president, perhaps decorated with a swastika to show his fascist tendencies. You do realize that even the actual liberal media (another minority party) would have been horrified, that the outrage would have been national, vocal, and justified. You have no taste, no style, no wit, little intellect, and apparently no shame at all.
Think about that the next time you light up China, buddy.
I kind of thought Becky would go for a Nazi flag cake.
Actually, Beck probably doesn't have many viewers among the investor class, because he's up against CNBC's Fast Money in the same time slot!
I know better than to expect enlightenment from his audience, anyway; indeed, how could they be expected to know that CCTV9's show Dialogue recently discussed the topic, "Liberal Arts Education Does Matter?" FNC would prefer viewers without such education!
