    What's amazing is that in his attempts to bash women, he still manages to (unintenionally, I'm sure) blame everything on men! What are these women doing that's so bad? Acting like MEN. Well... what does that say about our [men's] behavior? Shouldn't we all therefore start acting more like women? Apparently so, according to this dipstick, though I don't think he'd agree with that, the only reasonable conclusion one can draw from his 'logic'.

    Don't forget, this is one of those same morons who pines for the days when America looked like a Norman Rockwell painting. (I think that country was called "Americana" - but all the adults in the room realize that it never exsisted outside of Rockwell's canvases.)
    
    In his mind the world started going to hell the minute it became acceptabel for women to occasionally wear pants.

      NiceguyEddie, that was the early '70s, actually. My mom was a high school teacher, and I still remember the first day she wore pants to go teach at school.
      
      I'm guessing Savage is a 'barefoot and pregnant' kind of guy about women.

        He refers to the women of 30 years ago for which he pines, which would be the late '70's - back when women would still reproduce...(?)
        
        Anyway, we're down to our last 220 million white people in this country of 300 million, and if todays white women don't get on the stick and start making more babies, we're going to see the last of white people in 3 or 4 more short centuries.

        In the late sixties I kept getting sent home for wearing pants to school. I had to ride a horse five miles, to a one room school and was still expected to wear a dress everyday, even when the snow was up to my chin. It was a state law, school dress code, that girls had to wear dresses to school year round. When I was sent to a very big school in the city, a friend and I refused to wear dresses and were sent home everyday. Finally other girls joined us and the rules were changed. In 1970 girls could wear slacks to school. I had nothing against dresses and I looked great in a dress. I hated being told I had to wear one. I also hated the stupidity of having to wear one to attend a one room school when most of the kids came from my own home anyway.

  So either the New Yorker (after their recent glowing article of Savage) never listens to New Yorker or are complicit in such racist & sexist statements because they refuse to call him out on it. In fact, they raised his visibilty and credibility with their article.

  Oh god, I guess the billion dollar cosmetics industry is just a ruse, because women are using that to look like men.
  I am not an expert on women, even though I am one, but if you cannot find a woman to be with, the problem is not them, it's you bubba.

    I'm also confused by his statements; he does make it sound as though men aren't great. But he also says that women are becoming like men and, thus, don't want to have kids. That implies men already don't want to have kids. So, white men are to blame for this terrifying lack of white babies, too, right?

  Savage is like your typical "not really a Christian, but will say is a Christian fanatic" no better than those Muslim fanatics that are no better than Christian scum like Eric Prince, CEO of BlackWater who hate the idea that this country is slowly but surely growing up and trying to get past all the childish, immature, idiocy of the right-wing ideology!
