      I have to marvel at Dobbs's audacity in declaring himself an "independent" while routinely fulminating only about liberals and leftists. Bill O'Reilly is more of an independent than Lou Dobbs (not a compliment).

        Yeah, he's an independent like Brittany Spears is an opera singer. Or like Glenn Beck is a rocket scientist. Or like Rush Limbaugh is a considerate and thoughtful radio host who takes calls and never took hillbilly heroin. Or like Mikey Savage Weiner is a decent human being, who's not completely and impossibly insane.

      This whole thing is deteriorating into a Weimar Germany type thugs vs thugs at open political meetings. That lady with plastic baggie holding up Obama's Kenyan birth certificate adds comic relief. The guys at Freedomworks.com who thought up this strategy will probably graduate to selling derivatives or overpriced health insurance.
