Very apparent you did not listen to the audio. One line about "the chicks" (which Mr. Ed chuckled at) and its all over for Dowdy. If Tommy (or RightOn) were around, this would rate an WITH.

Anyone who listens to the audio should have no problem with this interview. As usual, MMFA jumps the gun on this one in attempts to launch a personal attack. This does rate a Why Is This Here?

It is here POV, because this site -- like Think Progress and others -- is bought and paid for by Clintonistas and it will defend anything to do with the Clintons first and foremost above anything that may appear in a phony 'mission' statement.

Bill did a good thing. This image cannot be allowed to stand.
So what else is a good beltway pundit to do but snigger about his imagined sex life?

juliajayne1, what have you done with Tommy?

Thanks to Bill Clinton for once again stepping up to help. It's truly disgusting (but not surprising) to see people making denigrating or middle-school remarks about this mission.

I'll never tell you what I did with Tommy. NEVER! You can't waterboard it out of me. We'll just say it has something to do with the Eiffel Tower and leave it at that.

Mr Ed or Larry O, makes little difference. The Host did chuckle at the line, that cannot be denied. Once again, WITH?

YOu're right. The audio doesn't work for me. I just know Dowd to be a nut and a Clinton hater from her writing.

What does she know about dysfunction? Just read her column. This "judgment" in her punditry is the perfect example of how shallow political commentary is now.

I consider her a gossip columnist. But then again most of what passes for punditry on the TV is either gossip, innuendo, stagecraft or hyperbole. One need not be correct, only to make a good story. It's all about the narrative.

How many channels (news?) have 24 hrs to fill each day? Little wonder that any more than a minor part of the time is actually spent on the news of the day.

The news of the day never gets covered at all. They see to that. That's why were so frickin' stupid about what's happening around the globe. These goofs pick what "News" you get and it's all of the stuff I mentioned above. I.e. schlock and shock.

Hi anyway, Oscar! ;-) Always good to see you.

I was just thinking about the earlier post involving Rush. I think that if Rush Limbaugh was captured by North Korea, held for 5 months, sentenced to 12 years of hard labor; I bet you he'd be estatic to see Bill Clinton walk through the door.

I was very disappointed with the giggle fest between Maureen Dowd and Lawrence O'Donnell on the Ed Show today. I don't think her snarky comments were appropriate. Bill Clinton was part of a phenomenal team effort to get those journalists out of North Korea. Not just anyone could go and get them. To reduce him to a joke for her and O'Donnell's amusement was unfortunate. I expect that from O'Rielly or Glen Beck.

What's up with Lawrence O'Donnell anyway? Maybe he was given a memo. Everyday he asks yet another conservative why Obama's helth care plan failing? Do I have to tell you what they say? He hasn't had one positive thing to say about the Obama
Administration in the last 3 days. According to O'Donnell the whole thing is over and our side was outmaneuvered.
