      Movies? That's the best you could come up with? What, beyond the fact that you have terrible taste in movies, did that prove?

        As a native Californian, I'm outraged at my tax dollars being directed at preparing for things that the vast majority of the scientific community understand as real probabilities, and I demand that some money be put aside to address real threats, such as;

        Assaults on marriage

        Putting the elderly to death, under..

        Socialized medicine

        Mandatory sex change operations

        Prohibition of religion

        Socialism

        rationing of health care to old people

        flag burning

        Government control (not sure how this would be done)

        Socialism

        banning Jesus from government buildings

        taking away my "fat guy" vehicle

        prohibiting me from keeping my home at 45° Fahrenheit all summer

        Teenage sex

        socialism

        etc.

      Yes, we here in CA are crazy for trying to anticipate a disaster and what an appropriate response would be! So much better not to plan...

      Sean Hannity doesn't believed that climate change is happening in our own very eyes. He's one of those conservative Republicans who would say "Drill, baby, Drill!".

      Actually, I liked both those movies. But you using a two movies where the scientific evidence of the coming disaster was, in fact, correct, as a way of mocking modern day scientists predictions about the climate? So you're saying, the scientists are right, but we need better showmanship?

      What does the earth's core stopping its spinning have to do with climate change?

      Maybe Hannity should show clips of "Independence Day" and claim that California is taking precautions against a space alien attack.
