No one would ever call him a Fox News Pup.
Maybe he wasn't serious when he called President Obama a Racist.
Maybe he was just being "Beck", That one who is so Tasteless.
Speak truth to power.
Mr. News
out of freedom.
What one person receives without working for, another person must work
for without receiving.
The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does
not first take from somebody else.
When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work
because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other
half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is
going to get what they work for, that, my dear friend, is about the end
of any nation.
You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it." Adrian Rodgers,1931-2005
Because it is TRUE....Tomorrow, the invisible militia is going to "gather up" anyone who disagrees with anything the Liberals don't like. You are going to be thrown into those camps...you know, the ones you always talk about. And you will never be heard from again. And your entire family will be lockewd up also. But look at it this way. You won't have to worry about health care, Communists, Fascists, Socialism, Nazis, Gun Control and the other 1000 things you are afraid to lose. They will all be gone. You can then live blissfully in the camps and only have your FRIENDS around you to compalin to. But finally, you will be right.
Start packing..the Invisiblites will be there tomorrow..
ProudConservative...we have you scheduled for 12:00:01 am...You are first so you can be King of the Right.
Only in the addle-brained wingnut imagination.
"...a list of bluedog democrats that need some 'arm twisting'"
Did you really put "arm twisting" in quotes as though you thought it was an Obama invention? Arm twisting of politicians is as old as party politics itself. What world have you been living in that you think it has traditionally been otherwise?
"...and a message to the American people that it doesn't matter that '53% of you don't like my healthcare reform but your gonna get it anyway'"
Gee, every time a poll comes out a politician should reverse course? Wouldn't that be "flip-flopping" or "governing by polls" or one of those other things conservatives always whine about?
"...and an equal percentage 'don't like the cash for clunkers' program but we're gonna do it anyway."
Really, because that program seems to have been so popular they are having to vote more money for it.
"Obama is the most arrogant politician, without merit, I have ever seen."
Crack open a history book and educate yourself then.
Well, it's nice to see the Republican commitment to civility was every bit as phony as their commitment to democracy.
The details for the cash for clunkers program are on the internet. Use google, it's what it's there for.
The census hasn't been moved into the executive branch, but you can still keep talking about it, it's just not true.
Met with opposition? I've seen footage where the very small number of loudmouths who "oppose" this, are generally older people, making lots of loud noises, whereas the majority are there to find out more about it, ask real questions, and hopefully get real answers. Funny that the people most "angry" about this health care thing seem to be the people who already receive government run health care, the elderly.
When you are the President, guess what you get to do? You get to try and influence people from your own party to do what you want them to do. Look at Bush for prime examples of this. He was able to influence almost every Congressional member in his party to do what he wanted to do, almost every single time. You think that didn't take some "arm twisting"?
My gosh, you guys are dense. This is how the game is played, and guess what? You don't get to be president without knowing how to play the game pretty well, and also to surround yourself with people who also know the game. The chief of staff's chief duty is to be Obama's watchdog, and attack dog.
I haven't seen any "protesters" at these events ask honest questions. If they did, this wouldn't be an issue, but they're too busy yelling and screaming about socialism and nazism that they don't have time to actually, you know, ask a question.
Our health care system stinks. We pay more money, and get not as good care as any western country in the world. So we should just leave it as it is?
I've seen the clips they love to show on tv where they shout down questions and answers they don't like... is that the democracy you are talking about?
Rep. Gene Green has his town hall meeting on you tube... if you want to spend the time to watch it, there is some shout downs and rhetoric early on... fortunately Rep Green talks to them like adults, although many talk like children.
The most telling question was (I'm paraphrasing)... "What will it take from us to get you to change your vote"
To me, that is telling... these people aren't looking for a discussion, they've made up their minds. They feel they are right, regardless of who was elected in their district.
I seem to remember something about 900 FBI files being found in a First Ladies room that had been missing for quite some time before they miraculously re-appeared. During this time quite a few people who disagreed with that administration were audited by the IRS. How is Craig Livingston doing? Have we figured out yet in twelve years who hired him????
After the House passed the Cap and Trade bill, Michelle Malkin posted pictures and addresses of the 8 Republican House members who voted for this with a "Wanted sign" above it. This of course gave her an excuse to go to every Fox talk show to display and they all called for them to be recalled.
It's politics, it's how sausage gets made.
<<sigh>>
Right?
You know, I recall well how much heat the Clinton administration took for supposedly being overly concerned with poll numbers and popularity. When public support for a Democrat's proposal is above 50%, conservatives argue that the politician is treating governance like a popularity contest; when public support drops below 50%, the politician is ramming the program down the throats of the American people. Public opposition to health care reform doesn't mean much if that opposition is based on rumors that the new legislation would mandate forced abortions and euthanasia, or that the plan is actually a way to implement reparations by a racist president who shouldn't even be president because he was born in Kenya.
Beck has made millions upon millions of dollars by being the mouthpiece of the far right wing and playing the fear card to prejudice and uneducated Americans.
As Don King would say only in America.
Only in America can a man make millions by trying to keep their citizens divided thru fear.
Beck would not be tolerated in other country.
He would have been censored before he called our President a racist.
Have you not listened to Becky's impassioned pleas, seen his patriotic tears, listened to his calm and reasoned arguments? Do you think for a moment that such a sterling American like Becky would ever stoop so low in his defense of the nation to take piles of money in exchange for his patriotism? I am shocked! Shocked!
Beck is serious about what he's saying and even if he wasn't he's playing with a loaded gun!
Have you actually read the bill they are attempting to put through? Do you actually think that the government can run a public health system any better than they have medicare or medicaid? Do you want DMV style healthcare for your family?
At least listen to both sides, make your own decision. That's what makes America great, discussing and looking for the best answers.
The health care of all Americans may be better served if all Americans know what is being proposed.
I do believe that the current adminsitration is dividing this country more and more every day, due to their lack of the promised transparency. And yes, obama's statements of late (Gatesgate) do make him appear to be a racist.
Just saying.
