No Jimmy, "joking" about the death of a child is something most human beings find deplorable.

Seriously!? Why would this deserve a thumbs down? I want the person that did that to explain...or are you not human?

I have a very keen sense of humor Mr. Quinn, I just don't think your hatefulness is funny. I could make all kinds of those jokes about you and Radio Rose, but I won't because I don't think that kind of "joke" is funny. Yes, you are correct, you are allowed to make your case on this site. Tell me what your handle is, and I tell you how disgustingly unfunny you are, right under your post. And I don't care if you say I have no sense of humor. Making jokes about the murder of a child to further a terrorist agenda isn't funny, no matter how you spin it.

The "brown man" joke isn't very good either. I would use that line from that old bit fairly often in one of my old jobs. Usually it would be when someone I worked with screwed something up while not listening to my warnings. When they said "we screwed up" I would say "Whaddaya mean 'we', white man?" I'm white myself, and I would lower my voice when I said it, so it was more than obvious that it was a joke.

There's no real correlation between the old Lone Ranger joke and what Quinn was talking about, outside of the word "we". That makes it come off as gratuitous, which reasonably strikes one as racist since Quinn is white. And it is an old line, so many people wouldn't get the reference, and that's especially true because Quinn doesn't change his voice at all when he says it. Making some effort to sound like Tonto would at least give the listener the impression that he was making a reference to something else, and not just using the phrase "brown man" without any rhyme or reason.

If you're going to get paid to do this sort of thing, you should at least know that much. Don't screw up your delivery and then blame other people for lacking a sense of humor.

I would like to see how Quinn would react if an American kid was called "disposable". Would he laugh?

As a supporter of Bush's wars, he clearly DOES think American kids are disposable.

How does he feel about the murderer of the three cops in Pittsburgh and the shooting/killing of three women in Bridgeville Pa., the other night. Is it different because they are Americans?
What do you say Abuser and Phony Christian? No jokes ab out these people. SCUM

The only joke I see is some old former DJ trying to be relevant in a world that has passed him by.
      It's not working.

I have a very broad sense of humor, but death of children by violent means is NOT funny Quinn.

I'm of the firm belief that anything can be funny if you spin it the right way, no matter how shocking the subject.

But I draw the line at making those jokes at or about real people. Mr. Quinn, please learn the difference between "no sense of humor" and "a good sense of humor."

Is calling the president of United States of America "A Brown Man" funny? Is saying any child blows up fast nevermind whether the child is Palestinian or not funny? How about if someone called you something that offended you, and then once you complain about it, they tell you can't take a joke. How would you react? People talk before they think sometime!

Seriously, if this guy says the things he does on the air, and thinks there's nothing wrong with that, can you imagine what he says in private with his friends...after a few drinks?

It's not that I don't have a sense of humor, Jim . . . It's just that mine, unlike wingnuts' usually does not involve murder.

Can't say the same for you and some of your fellow wingnut noisemakers, however . . .

You are a sick man in need of help (mental) if you think making jokes about a child dieing (suicied or not) or using racist coments is funny. Niether of these is acceptable in polite or repectable company.

If a comedian has to come back onto the stage to explain to the audience that his material was meant to be funny, then they aren't jokes.

Can you imagine the likes of a Jeff Foxworthy or a Jerry Seinfeld doing that? They'd be booed off of the stage in a heartbeat.

Richards claimed that his rant was caused by anger, not that he intended it to be funny. Maybe Andy Kaufman is a better example, since it was often difficult to tell if he was really trying to be funny or if he was just completely nuts.

      Mr. Quinn,
A sense of humor requires that the target of this humor would find your jokes funny too. I would be interested to hear how much of you "humor" is humorous to Palestinian parents.
