Wow, there's nothing in that statement that exists anywhere but Limbaugh's imagination.

Apparently, Rush actually said something that might be true! There is a video of some union people fighting with a guy in St. Louis, however the video doesn't start until midway through the "fight" (apparently they just pushed the man down after he got in their face). Rush is being misleading however. "Sent to the hospital" implies the man had the snot beat out of him. He was walking around fine in the video and yelling at his attackers.

"Senior White House adviser David Axelrod and deputy chief of staff Jim Messina told senators to focus on the insured and how they would benefit from “consumer protections" in the overhaul, such as ending the practice of denying insurance based on preexisting conditions and ensuring the continuity of coverage between jobs.

They showed video clips of the confrontational town halls that have dominated the media coverage, and told senators to do more prep work than usual for their public meetings by making sure their own supporters turn out, senators and aides said.

And they screened TV ads and reviewed the various campaigns by critics of the Democratic plan.

“If you get hit, we will punch back twice as hard,” Messina said, according to an official who attended the meeting."

Here's what Rush is commenting on. As usual, he completely butchers the quote, so I've pasted the relevant bit from the link I provided to give the entire statement in it's context.

This isn't even a call to reply to violence with violence, let alone an incitement to violence, Rush. That's what -you- do. This is simply the deputy chief of staff telling Democrats that the White House and the President support them. And that's all it is.

And here's a helpful link to what happened in St. Louis. Rush, it didn't happen -during- a town hall meeting. It happened -after- a town hall meeting. Did you not read anything at all about this?

By the way, who has been calling for violence? Back, Hannity, Savage, and... YOU, Mr. Limbaugh.

If you go to Breitbart.com they have a story and video of what happened. A few minutes ago they posted that a few people were arrested for the attack on this man. I also just read that the AFL/CIO is asking it's union memebers to organize and help out at these healthcare town halls. But why would the union fight for this when the proposal clearly exempts unions and government workers?
Also did you know that yesterday almost every Demorat voted to exempt themselves from this plan while every republican voted for Coburns bill. If it it is so great a plan why shouldn't our politicians lead the way and change their private plans to theone they want to impose on the rest of us? just asking.

If you go to Breitbart.com you'll find intellectually dishonest hackery written by a drunk with a persecution complex.

Fixed. I can't take anyone seriously after they cite Big Andy Blartblart.

What self respecting black person would be a conservative or a ReThugican? I bet Alan Keyes, Steele, and Peterson check their own birth certificates every day just to make sure. As a black man myself, the things these self-hating men condone from "their own" party is just shameful.
