I'm always amused when these Troglodytes quote Thomas Paine. I'll bet not one of them has read The Age of Reason.

ok heres a history lesson. Go to wallbuilders.com Did you know that half of the signers of the declaration of independance went to seminary. Did you know princeton was founded as a religious school? Did you know that ben franklin felt the reason the constitution was having problems being written was because they didnt pray enough? Did you know that thomas jefferson signed all of his letters in the year of our lord Christ. This nation was not founded by people who wanted to religion. It was founded by those who didnt want state run religion. They still were of judeo-christian faith. You libs point to history only when you think it helps you. Did you know jefferson used tax payer money to send missionaries to evangelize to indians? Did you know that congress used taxpayer money to make a bible for everyone? You guys really need a history lesson.

I guess even a rational Republican (Oxymoron?) can see you Glen for the human excrement you really are. And yes, you are a shill for the Republican Party. I am sure this guy is just a RINO.

I think it's clear that all of these nutbags are shills for the GOP. Just because Bill Clinton lied about his affair doesn't mean that the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" didn't exist... and it has only grown more vast and more Right Wing since.

I'm always curious about the sidekicks people like Becky seem to have. Did they dream of being second fiddle all their life? Is it a step up or step down from working at Subway? Do they have to pick up the host's dry cleaning too?

And how do they describe their job on their resume? Stooge or butt boy?

I'd like to second Beck's thank you to the crowd.

      To that crowd, Thank you.

Thank you for proving that the rational republicans have lost control of their voters. Thank you for proving you are in fact controlled by radio hosts. Thank you for turning on your own party, and your own elected officals and making it that much harder for the GOP to ever recover and gain power back. Thank you, for all you've done and are continuing to do to ensure the rational majority of this country, both Republican and Democract, can not risk voting for your party due to your tactic. For all of this and all you are still going to do to hurt your cause the Democratic party Thank You. Your distraction and infighting with your own party will finally allow the Democrats to pass the social agenda that this country needs.

Glenda Becky doesn't like Republicans because they still want a government. Glennie seems to want to do away with government and go back to an unregulated, free market economy where people do whatever they think God told them to do. That may have worked 200 years ago, but it won't work now; it didn't even work then. If you don't believe me, and are not familiar with American history, check out The Articles of Confederation and Shays' Rebellion. We need a society with a strong Federal government, that is why we now have the Constitution. You can't just look back at the 1770's and skip over the 1780's and say we need to interpret our Constitution in a more strict constructionist, sovereign states manner and think it will work in the 21st Century.

you must not pay attention to that whole 10th amendment huh? The fight during creating the constitution is some states didnt want the government running their lives. Thats why we have the 10th amendment. What ever power is not giving tothe federal government is then given to the states. We dont need government control. SHow me where socialism has worked in the world. Venezuala? WW2 Germany? It doesnt work.

The people that he keeps talking about that are waking up (birthers, protesters, racist) should have stayed asleep! We were doing fine without them! Thanks you Beck for waking the irrational racist monster that has been a disease upon this country for centuries!

This isn't a matter of who Glenn is speaking for. We know (and he's told us over and over) that he's a Libertarian.

The fact is that progressives are not buying his snake oil, while conservatives can't get enough of it. The fact is that he's selling his product on a conservative network. The fact is that all this talk about socialism and fascism that Glenn facilitates becomes PART of the GOP platform.

If there was a viable third party out there, then I'd believe that Glenn was a legitimate bystander between the two parties, but most GOP congressmen and politicians are lathering themselves in the venom from the likes of Beck, Limbaugh, and Hannity.

Inglis at least gets part of the message--selling fear to listeners will not get the job done.

I object to your characterization of Beck as a libertarian. Beck has defended the patriot act and waterboarding and has demonized those who want to legalize gay marriage.

Glenn Beck is another police state loving pseudo-libertarian, who uses the rhetoric of libertarians to attack government programs and regulations aimed at improving society but remain mum on or openly supportive of government actions which really do violate peoples rights.

Anytime you say these people have an irrational of the government, I think you have to include the caveats. They like government, just not certain kinds of government.

I was going to switch car insurance companies today, until I learned that Progressive Insurance pulled their spots on the Glenn Beck show. I was so pleased with them that I renewed my policy for another six months
