Your attack dogs are as fictitious as Limbaugh's 'liberal fascist libertarians', Lou. You've just gotten support from a man whose only reply to a difference of a opinion is violence. You didn't call him on it, you didn't try to talk him down from his ledge. You basically told him to jump, and who cares who he lands on, right? Right.

I hope that President Obama and the Secret Service are keeping track of your words, sir. I hope they are simply allowing you a long rope to hang yourself with. If you keep going the way you are, when you are finally arrested, whether it is for incitement to riot or treason, no one will stand with you, and we will, as a nation, be better off without you.

Unfortunately, since the Secret Service has been folded into Homeland Security, their budgets have been cut tremendously. They are trying to protect President Obama who is getting a reported 40 times the death threats of previous Presidents with less staff and money.

This concerns me, because those Southern Teabaggers are being whipped into a frenzy and far too many of them own guns... the only saving grace is that they are all too stupid to pull it off.

When a woman passionately says these tear filled words...
"I have never seen my America turn into what it has turned into. I want my America back! And I don't think the Representatives or Senate are going to be able to do it! I'm scared!!"

...I get scared. I'm scared because I believe that she is sincere. And I'm scared that there are many others in the South like her willing to do what is necessary to "get their America back"

You are correct, blueline. This has long stopped being funny, and is now a very serious matter. All we can hope for is that the Secret Service continues to protect POTUS, and that human decency prevents the number of threats from increasing.

Sad but true, their 'America' is as dead as Eisenhower, and it never really existed in the first place. But the collapse of the dream is painful, and I understand that. I saw this woman, too. Twice, in fact. The problem is, she's scared. The reason she has fear is because she does not understand what is being proposed. No one has bother to explain what health coverage reform actually means. The Right has been too busy constructing fallacious arguments to further scare her, and the Left has been busy trying to show how foolish those arguments are, but neither side has gone through the bill and explained it.

I personally think Obama should invite this woman to sit down, televised, and talk her through the bill, explaining away her fears and concerns. She doesn't seem stupid, just uninformed. I think he could speak to many Americans with such a gesture, and put many fears to rest. (Not that FOX will cover it, of course)

You are right Cat... that would be a great move... I think President Obama does need to reach out to these folks, because they are scared blind.

An open invitation would be a win-win

If she accepts it, it would be a great move by President Obama. Open discussion without the fear and rhetoric. Another Beer summit.

If she rejects it, well that would say a lot about her and the rest, essentially discrediting her.

She IS sincere. Man I hate people like that. Time only moves in one directions folks, and change can't be stopped any more than the prograssion of time can! She doesn't think congress will giver her back the america of her youth. Yeah, let's hope not. The Red Scare, Segragation and constant fear of Nuclear War. This is what that stupid bimbo wants. How can anyone be conservative?! THIS is what it mean folks - pining for some stupid image of the "good ol' days" that were significanlty more awful in every measurable way than the world we currently live in. Why anyone would willing choose to remain constantly behind the curve of history is beyonds me. Idiots and fools, the lot of them.

Could the recent comments from the right-wing pundits and their far-right followers possibly sound any more violent and unhinged?

The person who called his show is ignorant for making remarks and Dobbs is just as ignorant for not correcting the man and telling him to control his emotions. I guess when the country is built on violence people think it can not be peace and that it always has to be conflicts. People with no common sense makes no sense is what I always say.
