Why should Obama take credit for the downturn that started under bush? Why should bush get credit for the policies Obama enacted to stop the downturn? Wingnuts, always stealing someone elses thunder.

Yeah, the policies that have only been enacted to the tune of 10%. The Obama administration is a lot of talk and hot air. OOOPs maybe I shouldn't say that , I might get reported to the snitch site. Big Brother is watching!

Well, "fair" liberal you specifically stated over and over again that Obama's recovery was going to ruin us. What happened? Are you admitting your ignorance?

It is entirely possible that Obama's financial policies may bankrupt the country but we will have to wait and see. When people complain that things have not improved enough it is pointed out that only 10% of the plan has been enacted. That is why it is ridiculous for Obama to take credit for any improvement to date. And too early to judge it's ultimate success or failure.

            Do you disagree?

It's also entirely possible that pigs may fly outta my butt, but we will have to wait and see.

So now you are pointing to things that have not even happened, not surprising.

So I guess the possibilities should not be discussed? What a plan, lets just do it and not worry about the consequences.

Hmm, I seem to remember most on the left opposing the Patriot act because of possible abuses. Were they not pointing to things that had not happened? Why was that OK?

Another great example of progressive thinking.

You are forgetting that Bush and the Reps tried to enact Fannie and Freddie reforms back in the early years of the Bush years. They were blocked by the dems repeatedly. It may have at least mittigated the current recession and housing crisis. Ask Barney Frank , Maxine Waters, Chris Dodd and Pelosi why they opposed the reps efforts. They thought that their boy Franklin Raines and the crew at Fannie were doing a fine job.

Did Bush or Paulson have anything to do with the recovery plan? I thought it was just the bailout?
