Glenn Beck's racist tirades are neither journalistic nor relevant. In fact, they are an excellent way to exhort someone to attempt to eliminate the right's racist rabble-rouser enemies, which has happened a couple of times in the past. Six or seven, tops.
Not that Beck's a journalist, but you know what I mean. He works for a news network. Well, they call it a news network. Again, you know what I mean.
funny thing, i dont recall any of keith's advertisers pulling out. but both billo and beck have had that happen to them thanks to their incitement.
You can call somebody a chinchilla-loving-dingle-berry, for all anyone cares. But calling someone in authority a racist, outright saying he hates white people, is just fodder for the those who already have violence and revolution on the brain.
first the knights of malta were originally the knights hospitallers (the Knights of St John of the Hospital), and not formed to protect pilgrams and christian territories, but were doctors and the most knowledgeable of their time. they ran the only fully functional hospital in all of jerusalem before the first crusade.
second. the group that was formed to protect pilgrams, that was the order of the poor knights of the temple (knights templar). not the hospitallers, though the hospitallers got into that game too eventually. and were almost as good militarily as the templars. but the like the templars militarily and financially (their banking system being their speciality), the hospitallers remained an order of doctors and monks before they were warriors.
third. the hospitallers became the knights of malta because they got driven out of the middle east and settled on the island. and they decided since they no longer were based in jerusalem, or at krak de chevaliers, they changed to become the knights of st john of malta. and they are not a conservative group as far as i know. their grand master is one of the british royal family. the duke of glouchester, prince richard. one of charles' brothers. this order is speak of isnt the original knights of malta anyway. its called the venerable order of st john. the original knights of malta don't exist anymore because Napoleon drove them out. this is where the order split, the order that is said to carry on the orignal knights of malta legacy is the soverign military order of st john. the venerable order of st john didn't get recognized by the soverign order until 1963. they now work together even though they are seperate orders.
little history for you all.
