Whoa! A reporter who actually seems to be up on the contents of the proposed health coverage bill? It's good to hear a reasonable voice covering this debate. Too bad we'll probably never hear from him again. If he's not gonna walk the walk, I doubt they let him talk the talk.

A conservative Manchester paper called the Union Leader? So, it's published by thugs, right? (nudge, nudge, wink wink, say no more)

A single payer system of any kind and that includes a public option or an expansion of Medicare and Medicaid....

IS THE BEST HOPE FOR THIS COUNTRY'S PEOPLES SURVIVAL!!

One thing I can't stand is an elected Democrat (as I expect this from Republicans, like the one shown here) who goes out of his way to whore him or herself for any corporate interest that is well known to be a detriment to life, liberty, and the pursuit!

I think this is the problem with some of the opponents of health care reform. Even when you call them on their distortions with the facts they keep on talking with their lies. I guess if you say it enough it will become the truth. Lets see if it works "Hannity, Beck, and Rush go away","Hannity, Beck, and Rush go away","Hannity, Beck, and Rush go away","Hannity, Beck, and Rush go away". Did it work?

"Universal Health Care in any way shape or form is a bad notion"

      Wow, what an uninformed statement.
Every industrialized nation in the world has some form of universal health care. So, is he saying that Japan, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Germany, Sweden, Australia, are all bad and on the brink of collapse?

It's irrational to think that Universal Health Care is a bad notion... I would like to think that society's are judged on how they treat the least among them...at the most basic level a society should take care of their health.

So why do people from all over the world come to the United States if they can afford OUR health care?

Do we really want to be like the rest of the world? I for one don't want to become a serf as Obama, Congress, the Democrats and the Republicans already think of us.

Use your heads, people. Anything the government gets control of costs lots & lots of money. Medicare & Medicaid will be CHANGED under Obama's plan. They WON'T be the same as what they are now.

Don't you understand what is happening to our country!

Fox covered a Specter Health Care town hall live today- one fat, ignorant, knuckle-dragging programmed moron spitting out total BS after another. One guy went on for six minutes, quoting the Constitution, asking Specter "did you ever read the Koran? (and pronouncing it wrong)? I HAVE" and saying "will you pledge to put America first?"

And who gets most of the attention? One old troglodyte who isn't even one of the people given a card and a time to ask a question, who gets up and screams that he has A RIGHT TO SHOUT and A RIGHT TO TAKE SOMEONE ELSE'S TIME and YOUR OFFICE LIED TO ME!! and I WILL BE HEARD!! but has NOTHING to actually ASK the Senator.

This guy gets his clip replayed again and again on Fox, and will probably be interviewed by Beck or Hannity in the near future- and it will be the Greatest Moment of his Life.

Okay so what if the U.S. has universal health care. Canadian as they call it. Believe it or not if people do research they will find out that the U.K. has decent health care and so does Canada. They might have problems but what country doesn't? Canandians can pick between universal or private insursnce health care. THAT IS THE SAME THING PRESIDENT OBAMA IS PROPOSING! WOW!
