Why isn't this a bigger story? A U.S. Senator is perpetuating an outright lie about pending legislation. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE ARE ACTING LIKE THUGS AT THESE RALLIES. Not because they oppose Healthcare reform, but because the Troglodytes have convinced them that it's a euthanasia program.

Chuck Todd was lamely trying to defend this guy... not sure why.

We have noticed the uneasy reporting Chuck Todd has been doing too. Yesterday, Chuck was quick to push down the story about the guy wearing a loaded gun in NH where President Obama spoke with Carlos correcting Todd of this being a real concern with Americans bringing loaded guns to TownHall Meetings where Democrats and the President were. Chuck did "NOT" think it was that big of a deal for the media to be concern with. Wow.

Chris Matthews had that Gun-toting douchebag on his show the other night. I got the impression that his elevator didn't go all the way to the top.

I wonder how the right and the media would react if at a rally for a conservative speaker or president, a group of minorities appeared in the crowd openly expressing their second amendment rights by openly carrying guns if they had permits to do so?

Somehow I think they'd view it differently.

They'd call all of them members of the black panther party and label them radical thugs and gang bangers.

King you know dam well they would, which really angers me especially the medias non-chalance, treating this white "patriots" open display of a firearm advocating that it's time to pick up the gun and shed some blood in an area where the President was about to hold a public discussion as just another news story(See Jon Stewart)ugggggghh! Man, they wouldn't let this white guy get anywhere near George Bush, regardless of what the law says or his 2nd. Admendment Rights. You kiddin' me! But this gets to another question. What the hell are you doing bringing a gun to a discussion about anything , but about healthcare with a sign advocating bloodshed?
It's also a reflection of the lack of diversity on the airwaves and skewered idea journalist have about their profession. That is to say they fall for the conservative line of a "liberal bias" in the MSM and therefore give credence to BS or report issues and policy as he said she said, givng false equivalency to crackpots ideas on the same level as facts and reasoned thought. There is no way this guy should have been anywhere near our President openly brandishing a loaded firearm, and the MSM should be angry about this too!

Even responsible gun owners should have been outraged and distanced themselves from this clown.

Rights come with responsibilities. Bringing firearms to any venue in which anger plays a big part is irresponsible.

I'm waiting for someone to come along and defend the guy caught lurking in the school with a knife in his pocket and a loaded gun in his car with a round in the chamber.

It's all about the Republicans getting back in the game about HealthCare Reform since a majority of Americans believed the Republican Party to be the Party of "NO". Republicans won't let this stand, no way. So now comes the big ONE from Republicans: Made-up Lies.

Republicans fight these "made-up lies" by saying "NO" as they protect the American people's interests. No matter that these "made-up lies" came from their own Republicans, these Republicans will stand TALL in the end. Yeap, summer ratings are up and the Republicans are back in the game on HealthCare Reform. Republicans will protect American's interests from the Republican "made-up lies" by ANY means necessary. These Republicans "really" do know how to play the political come back game so well. Wink, wink.

This guy is one pf the reps that are trying to negotiate this out. He has shown his true colors. President Obama had just said the other day how Grassley is working behind the scenes. It seems like the Pres. is having the wool pulled over his eyes.

Keith Olbermann pointed out that this Senator has taken in $2.5 Million in contributions from the Health Care industry.

We should be worried that the strength of the Health Care lobby is this strong. He was one of the ones that President Obama touted as working with the Dems to hammer out a deal... so much for that.
