This story should be shown on every television netwotk!
This segment should be shown tonight and tommorrow on every television network!
We should all be a little ashamed that there's any debate at all.
The saddest thing is that so many Americans don't even know this - AND they think that this is the best we can be. They think it's a natural state of affairs that people should have to beg for health care, or have jobs that pay so low that nobody can make a living doing them. They don't have any experience of other countries, and they are not interested because they have been brainwashed with the "America is #1" meme that simply is not true, and moreover doesn't do ANY good even if it was.
It's a truly sad state of affairs right now.
The media should be ashamed at the way they've covered this critical issue.
But, really, would we expect anything else from the corporate media?
60 Minutes Expose
Yeah, right... it was the biggest government program in decades, and the Bush-followers did absolutely NOTHING. I remember at the time that I was amazed how completely they were following their leader and that if a Democrat would have done this, they would have been outraged. But ideology trumped issues, back then as it does now. They are a truly disgusting bunch of zealots.
I don't recall reading once--not once--about Junior's socialism and the silence of the Cons at that time.
The glaring hypocrisy of the right- wingnuts is completely overlooked by the corp. media.
