I mean, WE'VE heard her exploit her youngest one's disability as an excuse to lie about the President's health plan, but who from our side has attacked the kinder? Yeah, I know... Letterman inadvertently made a joke about the WRONG daughter... a joke that was clearly intended to skewer the ADULT daughter who has chosen to PUT HERSELF IN THE PUBLIC ARENA by commenting unintelligibly on the abstinence education fallacy. But who has attacked the little ones?

Thank you at least somebody gets it (althought it might be hard to get with the distance between the orginal post and my reply)as apprenrently alot of people dont.

My poins is this: Children (under 16) of both sides should be off limits. The defense given by "fairliberal" is also crap. Saying that O'Reily used the child as a way to attack Obama makes as much sense as saying Letterman used Palin's daughter to make a joke about a baseball player.

Seriously heres an 11 year old girl who SHOULD have just had a high point in her life by asking the most powerful man in the country/world a question, but we have people like Bill-O and Beck trying to take that away from her, trying to paint her as the little girl who sold out to the Obama Machine.

It's just sick, the girl asked an easy question that one would expect from an 11 year old. Thats what Bill-o doesnt get, the question was easy for an adult to handle because it was thought up by an 11 year old who probibly doesnt fully understand the issue.

Their is no reason to claim the girl is a plant other then plain-old mean spirtedness. (and yes I know where the girl's mother worked and no I dont care and it doesnt change my mind)

Oh and of couse FOX likes the implication of what kind of person Obama is for planting an 11 year old as well as how desperate he must be, which is the other reason they claim it actually happened

AARP supports health care reform which protects Medicare for seniors and, to my knowledge, has not objected to any Democratic health care reform proposals thus far.

And even if the girl was a plant...who cares? Like Barack Obama needs to use plants to communicate. You must have the President confused with George W. Bush.

            The entire statement from AARP:

WASHINGTON – AARP Chief Operating Officer Tom Nelson issued this statement following remarks by the President at a townhall event in New Hampshire on health care reform.

"AARP has been working with Democrats and Republicans to fix our broken health care system."

"While the President was correct that AARP will not endorse a health care reform bill that would reduce Medicare benefits, indications that we have endorsed any of the major health care reform bills currently under consideration in Congress are inaccurate."

"AARP supports specific measures that would help older Americans and their families – including bipartisan proposals to create a new follow-up care benefit in Medicare that would help prevent hospital re-admissions, as well as to address the Medicare prescription drug coverage gap known as the 'doughnut hole.' We also support the need for lawmakers and the Administration to act this year to fix what doesn’t work in the health care system."

"We share the President's commitment to act this year, and our members appreciate his insistence that any final reform package will not reduce Medicare benefits for the millions of people that literally depend on that program as a lifeline."

"We look forward to working with leaders of both parties, including the President, to build a final package we could endorse that addresses the concerns of the 50-plus population and brings quality, affordable health care choices to every American."

Interesting how the "press", and fox news in particular, always cuts and pastes the part they want to make a bigger claim than what's really there...

I'm sure you've hear that, "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". You have absolutely NO ground to talk about ANY Obama audience member.

            #1
Though not legally binding, the Republican National Committee (RNC) used both signed Loyalty Oaths and spoken Loyalty Pledges as a requirement to attend certain 2004 re-election campaign speeches, a possible first in U.S. election history.

            #2.
During the 2004 presidential campaign, the campaign of George W. Bush routinely required all attendants at its rallies to take what some have called a "loyalty oath". Those who refused to take the oath were not allowed to attend the rally.

And the Bush White-house reason for stacking their audience with ONLY Bush supporters?

“There is an active campaign underway to try and disrupt and disturb his events in hopes of undermining his objective of fixing Social Security,” White House spokesman Trent Duffy told FOXNews.com. “If there is evidence there are people planning to disrupt the president at an event, then they have the right to exclude those people from those events.”

What happened to that DEMOCRACY Bush was always preaching about? Is it only good for Iraqis and not Americans?

Linda Coates, a Fargo, N.D., city commissioner with an openly liberal background found herself on a list of North Dakotans "banned" from a February Bush rally days before the event.

The list reportedly was found in boxes of tickets for distribution. It included two high school students, a librarian, a Democratic campaign manager and several university professors —the majority of whom had connections to a local group called Democracy for America .

After a local media uproar, the 42 people on the list were allowed to attend.

Shocking, an Obama supporter at an Obama event. Next thing you know dog lovers will be found walking dogs at dog parks.

Please provide proof that ARRP doesn't support the Democratic Health Care bill.

All they said is they don't support a specific bill because there is no bill yet. They DO support health care reform. Ya know the reform Democrats want and Republikkkans don't. Connect the dots.

So was it a good question or not? For some reason people never address that.

What I don't understand is that when Dubya was president people were arrested outside the venue before saying a word, making any threats, or doing anything - and the R's remained silent. So when they come for you, what do you want us to do, care or just pretend we care?

I think Bill is out of his mind. No surprise really. However, if she was a plant Obama used the opportunity horribly as he did not really answer her question and really did not talk to her directly in a personal manner (He walks away about 10 seconds through his "answer" to her). This without a doubt was not scripted or the question when posed to a politician with the ability to communicate in a human way -- and say what you want Obama can deliver the goods in the communication arena -- it would have, should have been used better.

A nervous little girl asking who to believe in arguably one of the more muddy issues of our time, any time due to everyone having no idea what is happening and just spewing whatever. And you have a chance to relieve this kid's confusion and by proxy our own questions. And you ramble. Sweet Jimmy Cricket -- answer the damn question, save the day, being the hero.

Yes, BO is an idiot. But please give me something.

Two points: A "plant" is a credentialed "reporter" like Tim Guckert (aka Gannon) with no journalism background, no actual newspaper or media outlet, lobbing softballs to Bush on cue. A man who advertised himself as a male escort on his websight yet spent dozens of overnights at the White House. THAT'S A PLANT!

Second, whatever happened to qualifiers? I THINK the little girl is a plant; I SUSPECT she was chosen beforehand; My GUT FEELING is that she was not chosen at random.

No, he just makes a declarative absolute statement WITH NO EVIDENCE OR PROOF, just like his accusation that GE was providing the electronics for IEDs. A REAL journalist would couch the comment in some uncertainty. Not Billo! He KNOWS what's in other people's minds. Asshat.

Who says that a plant has to be a credentialed reporter? Apparently only you.

        others think otherwise,

Slang a person placed, or thing planned or used, to trick, mislead, or trap
        http://www.yourdictionary.com/plant

And can you show where he made a declarative statement that GE was providing IED material.

        Seems you are the asshat.

You know what AMAZES me about this report?

O'Reilly - ALL OF THE REPUB PEOPLE...none of them are phony! They're patriots, they're all true Americans! Patriots! Dissenting heroes!

the same O'Reilly - One liberal girl! A fake! A phony! A plant! Obama astroturfing!

And ironically for him it is all based on faith. No matter what info comes out about the town halls they are patriots. A small lead on the girl...a plant.

It doesn't even matter whether the girl was a plant, you just see O'Reilly leap at the opportunity to show his ridiculous anti-Obama bias, either way. This passes for media? Weak.
