Makes sense to me. Of coure a dose of "thier own medicine" is unluckly to cure thier blatant, transparent hypocrisy anytime soon.
Meanwhile, the people who point out "this is all bullshot" are shouted down...
The White House did not ask for people's email ADDRESSES. It says
"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov."
Since English is not your forte, it is asking for EMAILS so that they can correct the misinformation.
"Turning the IRS loose" on them? Is that all they got?
HA! Glenda Beck was talking about concentration camps run by FEMA . . .
The more I see of fox News the more it looks like the ramblings of some paranoid on the corner. No logic behind what they say and hey go from point to point endless without letting anyone else get a word in edgewise.
I did not receive a response from Representative Baird, but on August 8th I did receive the first of two e-mails from David Axelrod, Assistant to President Obama.
The following day, I also received e-mails from Senator Patty Murray and Representative Jim McDermott, each of whom represent the district in which I live. I had written to them many times before and never received a response. Co-incidence?
The White House is definately calling the shots here. Whether they are preparing a "list" or compiling names for future IRS audits remains to be revealed. However, I am prepared for whatever ball they throw.
In the meantime, Representative Baird has publically apologized for his demeaning public comments about the citizens of his State. That is a good thing. And maybe my e-mailed helped to get that apology.
Now another rather obvious story to watch is AARP's position on health care. They are trying to ride the middle of the fence. Which way do they fall????? Supporting Obama or Supporting their memberhsip?
I hope Major Garret reads this blog
