No photographic evidence, huh Rush? Really? But my favorite, "We're not calling President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, etc. Hitler, we're just comparing them to Hitler and Nazis."

      What's the big deal?

Limbaugh whitewash continues: "Nobody's calling Obama Hitler . . .

. . . even though, in the very next clip, Limpballs claims Obama has "surrounded himself with Jew-haters" . . .

The epic fail comes from the use of the word "nobody".

If you use that word in the style that Rush used it, all it takes is one person to refute the entire claim.

What's hilarious about that though, and make the FAIL all the more EPIC, is that ONE PERSON is the MAN HIMSELF!

      Look, here is what's happening.

Okay, so let's assume that Rush has not explicitly called Obama Hitler or Pelosi Goebbels. The comparisons between Democratic figures and Nazi figures, as well as the Democratic Party and Nazism, have been made by Rush and his cohorts, but let's assume that he hasn't called Obama "Hitler".

The fact is that your listeners, Rush, MAKE THAT ASSUMPTION. They hear you making the comparisons, and the psychology alone is enough to have your Dittoheads MAKE THAT ASSUMPTION. You're not calling him "Hitler", but your implications and words are Pavlovian bells for listeners with itchy trigger-fingers.

And THAT is where the "busted" swastika signs are coming from--your egging of their fragile psyches until they make the connection for themselves. And there ARE people who are calling Obama "Hitler"--just do a freaking Google search on those two words, and you'll find 1,760,000 images connecting the two words with DISTURBING imagery.

You're being ignorant, Rush. That will be your undoing someday.

And that's the problem with being ultra-conservative. You can't backtrack on your platform when the situation invades your personal mantras and beliefs, or else you'd no longer be conservative.

Could be worse. On images alone, there are 2,100,000 pics of W being the devil. Its fun to be president, isn't it?

I'll give you that much, and I certainly don't endorse mocking ANY president in imagery. Bush wasn't the best president by a long shot, but I certainly do not see the reason to pummel his image with this sort of association.

However, I notice that some of those images are simply Bush being Bush (throwing up the "Go Horns!" sign of the "Devil"). There are simply more disturbing images of "Obama + Hitler" than that of "Bush + Devil".

            Mocking, is one thing.

Trying to tie Obama to the most murderous fascist regime and evil man the world has ever known is quite another.

And of course the left never compared Bush to Hitler, in images or words. Now I get it.

Has Barack Obama ordered our troops to fight a "war" against a country which not only had not attacked us, but had not THREATENED to attack us nor had the means to attack us? Did Barack Obama cause the deaths of many, many thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens and almost 5,000 of our best and brightest just to one up his daddy? Has Barack Obama ignored the plight of the residents of one of our largest cities and one of our most important sea ports in order to watch the baseball playoffs or attend a birthday celebration for one of his buds? Has Barack Obama ignored repeated warnings from his own security and intelligence groups which precipitated in the deaths of almost 3,000 people? Has Barack Obama ordered the warrantless surveillance, in contradiction of the 4th Amendment, upon everyday American citizens?

Bad analogy there, Dave, but keep trying.

It's intersting that comparing Obama to Hitler does not equate to calling him Hitler but Nancy Pelosi pointing out that some townhall protestors were carrying swastikas means that she called the protestors Nazis.

Yes, it is beyond the pale to compare Hitler to Limbaugh, as it is beyond the pale to compare anyone without the neo-nazi ideology to Hitler. Mr. Limbaugh's statements of the past few months have been, at best anti-American and at worst, a call for violence against a duly elected official of our government.

I want to say that I am appalled by his lack of morals, but that would make me a laughing stock. At no time in his tabloid-Jerry-Springer-style career has he displayed any compunction about attacking an elected official that doesn't espouse his strict, if deranged dogma.

Limbaugh panders to those who are least able to draw their own conclusions, the supposed disenfranchised white male. The very male that has been entitled to all sorts of privilege throughout the history of our nation. These men, who are now having to contend with other races and genders who are making their place in his insular, privileded world, are extremely susceptible to they type pseudo-sympathetic brainwashing which Limbaugh employs.

His rhetoric has inspired acts of vandalism and even violent outbursts. If anything were to happen to any of the congress people who are trying to communicate the FACTS to brainwashed individuals, Mr. Limbaugh and his Fox cronies should be prosecuted. This is a country of laws that is becoming increasingly lawless due to their irresponsible ramblings.

To end, I would like to remind Mr. Limbaugh of Harry Truman's statement, paraphrased because I'm too tired to look it up. If you don't respect the man, you should at least respect the office he holds.

Oh, but Harry Truman was one of those demonised Dems, so that comment won't do him any good.
