Which, of course, absolutely absolves you from doing your d@mned job, right Howie?...
That they hate democracy and this country is obvious
For those of you drive by thumbs down children, if you feel impelled to give me a thumbs down, that's fine...
Could you at least post an explanation as to your reason why? And then defend your position... or would I be asking to much?
Chuck Todd let it slip that only about 20% of the town hall meetings descend into shouting matches. Who'da thunk it, given the disproportionate attention the drooling Troglotytes are getting from the Press?
CNN was covering a townhall shortly after Arlen Spector's scripted disaster. The anchors seemed so disappointed that there was no shouting during the 30 seconds or so of the live feed. They then switched away and said "we'll come back to this if anything happens".
(Enthusiastic Applause)
"Say it with me- NINETY NINE TRILLION DOLLARS!"
Senator: "look, you make a good point...."
This entire summer has been like one long audition for American Idiot. I had no idea there were so many worthy contestants. But hey, at least it's been fun for the media, right?
See, the problem with the media is its LIBERAL BIAS! Hah!
Those mobs aren't fringe loons, they're conservatism. I can tell because the mobs are echoed by national conservative politicians.
Just a few months ago, America resoundingly rejected the McCain-Palin ticket. Given the goodwill McCain enjoyed after years of being puffed up by the media, it's a certainty that a major reason for the McCain-Palin loss was voters not being impressed by Palin. The GOP's apparent belief in her credibility and electability is evidence that they really don't know how to recapture their past success at the voting booth.
Lies. I've never seen mainstream coverage of angry, shouting folks on the left that treated their concerns as something worth listening to.
An occasional still of a protest, maybe a few seconds of film underneath a longer story, that's it.
The media is giving right wing angry, shouting folks a free, 24/7 bully pulpit.
Somehow I keep forgetting we have a liberal media!
