Well, hey, look, at this point Obama could take health care reform off the table completely and the right wing nuts would STILL say there will be death panels! Oh, and he's from Kenya ...

That guy in the middle reminds me what I used to get told when "white" people disagreed with me, "Go back to Africa you N-Word." Times have changed, huh?!?

Ah... the ignorance of the right-wing will never cease to be a growing pot of scary entertainment!

There was a time (before 1/20/00) when these freaks of nature were nothing more than an unhinged fringe of lunatics that could easily be ignored!

I encourage everyone to read a rational plea on a potential health-care fix. This is a letter from radio host and all around good guy, Thom Hartmann to president Obama ---> Here

A smart guy! I still would like an out right single payer for everyone, but thats an interesting idea.

I think your idea of having an out right single prayer for everyone is a great idea. That would make it so much easier on the Lord.

You did mean to type "prayer" instead of "payer" right?

I'm sure that's the only kind of heath care reform that the Republicans would support.

            Worrierking,

That's the beauty and simplification of combining Medicare and Medicaid and then expanding them for all, it is in a word... universal health-care coverage! and are an already existing bureaucracy, that nearly everyone that is on it, has few if any complaints about it.

At this point I think it is safe to say that the very decent idea of a public option has been ruined by the right-wing schlubs. Since it appears that at every town-hall, the people are asked whether they are on Medicare, most of those people raise their hands, yes.

So by doing this, would most certainly take nearly the entire fight away from the right-wing attack dogs, like those over at Fox and certain drug addled gas bags, and the other various ignorant folk!

Whether the cost is paid for through taxes or a certain amount out of each of our paychecks per week, in the end, it is still a tax anyways, and is going to be paid by us 'mythical' little people. As I fully expect corporations and several scumbag millionaires and billionaires to use every loophole possible to keep from paying a fair share of the burden, as they have always done.

            Point (larf) taken.
Huckabush is currently doing his best to bring health reform issues, and any other issue, to an end game time.

I wonder what Steyn thinks about his home country's medial care, as I'm sure he's taken advantage of the Canadian system a few times in his life. Or maybe he took advantage of the British System when he spent his early adult life working in London?

I'm sure the man paid the full price for everything medical, never excepted the free healthcare....

Of coruse as he is a High School drop-out, maybe he isnt smart enough to know that Canada and Britian have socialized medicine.

This commercial break was made possible by "Rub Snoopy's Tummy" productions. Your regularly scheduled show will resume momentarily.

Because of that pressure -- because of you and people like you signing petitions and picking up telephones to say 'No more' -- Color of Change announced today that Walmart, a key bank with GMAC Financial Services, Best Buy, CVS, Travelocity, Re-Bath, Broadview Security and Allergan have all backed out, bringing the list of former Glenn Beck advertisers to Twenty.

I realize the administration was probably just floating a trial balloon with the suggestion about replaing the public option with co-ops. But the all too predictable response underscores the folly of attempting to compromise with these maniacs. As it is, the President has cheesed off his supporters and gained nothing in a pursuit of much-overrated bipartisanship.

He's a smart man; I'm not sure why he hasn't picked up the obvious lesson yet. I got a fundraising letter in the mail under President Obama's name last week. It had a picture and was stamped "DO NOT BEND". If he wants any more of my money, he'll need to start taking his own advice more often.

Unless the co-op consists of every citizen in the country how is it the same thing as a government run system? Oh yeah, the fact that the Republicans corporate backers aren't profiting from it.

Too bad the Teabaggers are too stupid to realize that these cretins are lying to them.

NPR interviewed a Surgeon from Britain this morning, and... SURPRISE... the Republicans have been lying to us about Britain's Healthcare system. He point blank refuted two of the most popular myths; that dying old people like Ted Kennedy would not receive care, and that there is a cap on the expenses you are allowed to incur. He said both were outright lies.

So, who are you going to believe... a British Doctor or an American Troglodyte?

Steyn gives all Canadians a bad name when it comes to his racist multiculturalism views:

      from wiki

... In Jewish World Review, Steyn argues "Multiculturalism means that the worst attributes of Muslim culture - the subjugation of women - combine with the worst attributes of Western culture - licence and self-gratification." He states, "I am not a racist, only a culturist. I believe Western culture - rule of law, universal suffrage - is preferable to Arab culture."
