There's a special place for treasonous conservative anti-Americans after they die?

Okay, Mikey, let's check on Bob.

"Hey, Bob! Hot enough for ya?"

Bob says it's plenty hot and they're holding a place for you.

So the Savageweiner's hopes came true?!? Novak is in Fiji enjoying some homo-erotic skinny dipping with poets? That's nice for him.

        But was he a socialist?

Also, is the Devil a capitalist?

Too bad no televangelist would ever take that question...

He believed in universal health care, even for those no good slackers who don't pay taxes (i.e., the sick, the elderly, children, handicapped, etc.)

Oh I think they would and they'd have passages to "prove" their position. That's the great thing about the Bible you can use it to support pretty much any point you want to make. Even 2 diametrically opposed points.

Based on their approach to health coverage reform, if the quotes aren't there, they will simply fabricate them out of whole cloth, shaggles.

they can only use gospel to support and prove what they say by distorting his truths and any conservative that believes other wise let's start with the rubbish you want us to believe that the bible says (God helps them that helps themselves) or as one of their leaders said last week universal health goes against the bible I don't find that in scripture or gospel in fact when you read the gospels with an open mind and heart you kinda get the feeling Jesus Christ would be a socialist in this day and age

          Is the Devil a capitalist?

If the love of money is the root of all evil, then YES. S/he is.

Yes, He was and I've never been sure how the folks who are now calling themselves "Christian" conservatives have ever reconciled their love of money and possessions, their racism, their hatred and anger toward people who disagree with them, their disdain for the poor and needy, etc., with the teachings of Christ. He was against ALL of those things. To be "Christian" is to be "Christ-like." Christ didn't hate, Christ didn't exclude, Christ wasn't greedy . . . don't understand the concept of a "Christian" conservative.

Just because you can't speak ill of the dead doesn't mean you can't speak ill of anyone, eh?

Mr. Savage, you have stood upon the grave of an actual journalist for a better vantage point from which to take a shot at people with whom you disagree. Your lack of shame and taste does not speak well for whatever religion you profess to follow.

I for one would love this doctor of theology to explain exactly what sin "liberals" commit, in general, that would mean we're going to hell. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

      Didn't think so.

Rowland Evans and Robert Novak are united once more, looking under beds for Communists. Considering where they may be, I would suggest that it is a veritable "hotbed" of Communism they are looking under.

      A very hot bed, indeed.

Oh, for the love of God, THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT REAL CHRISTIANS!!!!! Why would anyone wish people of a different political ideology to go to hell and mean it? If a librul said this about conservatives, HE'D BE FIRED ON THE SPOT! The fact that conservatives use hate speech as a tactic on air daily has forced me to stop looking for any issue I'd side with the Republicans on, and I consider that shameful.

Which is it exactly why it's clear that their side will be the ones going to hell, not for their political positins but rather for their near constant stream of heresy, hubris and blasphemy. (And not that I really care: to an agnostic, blasphemy carries very little wieght. But if there IS a god, I don't think he'd be to happy with them, at least accordsign to that book they all claim to follow...)

Or to put it a different way: You know what party Jesus would vote for? Whichever party WASN'T going around arrogantly claiming that they had his vote.

They've become noting more than modern-day pharisees.

Savage is really using the concept of hell to its full extent here, isn't here? Beside using it to threaten those who don't fall in line, if you can't justify taking out your frustrations on someone for real-- entertain happy fantasies of your worst enemies burning in a pit of fire for eternity.

Just don't try to think too hard that you might fit the bill for people said to be on their way to hell.

I just don't get it with the conservative christians in this country it seems in their interpetation of gospel, Christ teaches a doctrine of bigotry, hatred, and violence and unless I thouroughly twist and pervert his words I just can,t seem to find this message of hate and bigotry so I would ask any conservative out there which part of Gospel is it in

More conservitives i know will go to that other place because they do not live by the Bible. The conservitives tell the lies, cheat, use the loopholes in the law to rob others blind, spread hate, and are the ones who tend to be the Pharisees of today by telling me and others that they are the only ones who know what God wants for otherswhen they Bible says only God can know the hearts of men. The conservative movement is full of hypicrits like Savage. Novak was one when he outed a CIA employee against the law.
