I'm sure there are underage sex workers in the Dominican Republic who could elaborate on just how far that fascination extends...

Someday Rush might have a valid criticism of Barney Frank, or at least a criticism that's about policy, rather than a juvenile jab at his sexuality but I won't hold my breath.

They can't find one. That's why these people have to resort to petty jabs that are completely irrelevant.

Actually he had some very valid criticisms of Frank relating to the repubs efforts to reform Fannie and Freddie and possibly avoid or at least mitigate the financial crisis and Franks efforts to fight those attempts.

Apparently Frank just can't take any criticism, when the woman asked the question , instead of answering her he went off on his planetary voyage. He opened the door to the jokes. He should have just kept his cool and answered the question. You know , like the cop and the racist Prof Gates, most here said it was OK to abuse the cop, it was not illegal. The same should apply to the thin skinned Frank.

He should have answered the question? Seriously? What question? You mean her question as to why Frank and Obama were "supporting Nazi policies"? That's not a question; it's a ridiculous and baseless statement.

If Bush had let non-supporters into his town halls, and someone had asked Bush why he was "such a Nazi", should Bush have answered that question seriously?

Apparently, "analyze" is now synonymous with making offensive, stupid puns that are older than television.

Arguing with Rush is not like arguing with dining room table. It's like arguing with a guy with a white hood.

Rush' you sound jealous of the fact that Barney Frank has the guts to be honest and open about his homosexuality. You should try it, you repressed vile pig. So now, that is two Nazi references you admit to being at these town hall meetings.

How many nazi references do you admit were used by the left during the Bush Administration? Or do you deny that they even happened?

The fact that the woman was equating Obama to Hitler is so second nature to the Great Gasbag that it's hardly worth comment except to suggest that the woman might be a plant. In this moron's world, it's perfectly normal to throw around Nazi comparisons while making crude homophobic jokes.

Frank couldn't have been more on point---talking to the woman would indeed be like talking to a piece of furniture.

Barney Frank looks like a walking germ. He constantly spits when he talks and is just a disgusting human being who makes death look good. He seems to forget that he works for us not the other way around. I'm sure he knows all the ins and outs of teabagging. And please don't call me a homophobe since I'm a lesbian and Frank gives us a bad name in my community.

Fishergirl, your entire post is just ad hominem. He made great points and the only way to you know how to counter them is by trying to change the subject.

Ive made it very clear I NEVER listen to Flushbo, he is also a disgusting slob in my book, but he's not an elected official he's just a bloviator. And I did not think he made great points. He is very rude when he speaks to people who PAY his salary who have every right as taxpayers to ask questions. I didn't hear him say he would go for the public option over his nice PRIVATE healthcare plan did you????

He actually did and he gave her the respect which she gave him. How is a better health care system related to Nazism? How does she add to the discourse on health care by making inflammatory charges which have no merit? She has the right to ask the question and he has the right to answer the question how he deems fit. The question was charged, not based in fact, and pure lunacy so it was a fitting response.

Senators and Congressmen are covered under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program. It's a government program that negotiates for lower prices and better benefits. The only reason that federal employees get a better deal out of private insurance companies is because the program acts much like a labor union does. Either private insurance plays ball with the FEHBP or they don't get any federal employees. They don't get a good deal out of the kindness of Blue Shield, Blue Cross, etc.
