Joe is so loyal to his Republicans and still trying to share the real blame for how his Republicans started this ugliness at the Democrat TownHall Meetings with the Democrats. Joe is just shameless. LOL

Btw, Joe was purposely quiet (crickets chirped so long they made a song) this morning on Morning Joe with the news about Tom Ridge. We wonder if Ridge would have been a Democrat if Joe would have been so quiet? Just saying... LOL

Joe had on his Republican Shill Hat this morning.

He blamed the problems with HealthCare Reform on the Democrats.

Okay, that's not a complete lie, but a half truth. The Democrats have been spineless and disorganized, but the Republicans have dumped an avalanche of lies into the debate through their massive, well funded Media Machine.

I like Leslie Stahl, I have for years. She is correct, it is the job of the media to point out all the lies and distortions, and to inform the public, regardless of where the misinformation and vitriol are coming from. I do think the Republicans started this, a long time ago, now, when they took power back in 1996. They made a not of noise and they turned a lot of people off, and it cost them, but they refuse to give in and admit it. Newsweek has a great article about things people should know, in the article on Bipartisanship, it talks about how conservative the average Republican has become, a huge contrast to the last time the Democrats dominated Congress with this much of a majority. The average Republican is not going to reach out or compromise, regardless of who is doing the asking, so the Democrats should go it alone and use the Nuclear Option, because that is the only way things will get done. Rachel Maddow also pointed out that Republicans are now asking that Democrats get between 75-80 votes before they consider passing anything, but it only takes 51. They can scream about fillibusters, which they pulled at twice the rate of Democrats, or the Nuclear Option which they also used at twice the rate of Democrats, and Faux Noise can distort all they want but the Democrats need to remember the people who gave them the votes, and do the job we sent them to do.

Sure we have the crazies outnumbered by a factor of four. But it's the same twenty percenters that get the media's attention.

If the media were doing its job, they'd be treating the birfers, deathers, and tea baggers like they do any fringe group. Instead they give them legitimacy.

I'm sure that we'd still be living in mediaeval, feudal villlages, paying taxes to the king, if so much legitimacy was still accorded the flat earthers.

We'd have a society in which there were two classes the lords and the peasants.

      Wait a minute....

Yes, Joe, people flaunting guns, Nazi symbols, and claims of Socialism, total government take over, death panels, Nazi policies and attempting to shout down any kind of discourse = Democrats writing and talking about policy differences, and complaining about the gun-toting Nazi-spewing, utterly misguided and misinformed bullying extremists. ??????

What is the rhetoric of the pro-healthcare reform extremists? I might be one without even knowing it.

How many times must Joe be wrong for him to start thinking about what comes out of his mouth?
Time and time again guests come on his show and prove him to be wrong about something HE said.
For some strange reason this has absolutely no effect on Republicans and conservatives.
They continue to say the most stupid and idiotic things.

Watch out for Joe Scarborough. Everyone knows it’s only a matter of time before David Gregory is on his way out and lately I have been noticing Joe Scarborough dressing up more and more in suits. Ask yourself people when we have ever seen that; most of the time his appearance is that of a sloppy pig sucking down a heavy calorie Starbuck.

I have seen this before when he went on auditions for his current morning stop and attempted to promote himself for the Meet the Press job when Russert first passed. And even though it’s hard for him to do he is “attempting” to control his arrogant responses to his guess. I think he believes if he calls out republicans and democrats then that will make him appear more balanced. But the problem with that is most of the time his criticism of Democrats is exaggerated, fabricated or unjustified, while it seems to take him a minute before he actually starts calling out his own party. He was for Sarah Palin before he was against and now his gloves are slowly coming off with harsher and harsher criticism of her.

Well it is my hope that NBC doesn’t get fooled by this masquerade of Mr. Scarborough, this guy couldn’t even bring in good ratings when he did appear as panelist with the pathetic Harold Ford. He doesn’t deserve it; neither does Chuck Todd nor Andrea Mitchell who have all proven sadly that they are basic reporters with out a required depth in facts or research.

Rachel has shown the same type style as Russert and that is what is currently missing from the show. David Gregory appears to be our Chris Wallace, a one year wonder for Meet the Press until the position was eventually filled by Tim Russert.

the republican legislators were given specific instructions to vote no, in masse for the duration of the Obama administration not because they want to achieve statesman status but because they are simply po'd the party got beat up. Don't fall for this " extremists on both sides " bait. There have been no reports of republican town hall meeting disruption . Shoot, some of them even hand out free Glenn Beck books in Iowa, a state that voted for Pat Robertson at one time. Ironic, church and state merging.

Actually, I am blaming Democrats who saw this initiative as an opportunist opportunity to be bought off by GOP wing nuts to hold this initiative hostage. This is one of the few times where the Reps had to buy out the competition and it is evident that a select few sold out for the hold out. When it is all said and done, they are gonna be exposed and chewed up for being useless and non integral. Although they were able to be bought out doesn't mean they will remain anonymous. That's is clear to me. THere is no other way this happened. Extreme Log Rolling.

THe evidence will be if the Dems who are holding up this policy has had favorable approval from Republican counters on an issue or bill on the floor in either house that has all of a sudden began gaining momentum. THen you know what has happened.
